12. What was the Herald's reaction upon seeing Corypheus for the first time?

What is that thing? Followed by I'm fucked.

21. What is the Inquisitor's opinion on the Grey Wardens?

There's a healthy respect and awe for the Wardens, at least until the blood magic and demon-summoning starts. Because of what Erimond turned them to through manipulation and the Wardens' connection with the Blight, he dispenses the worst possible punishment Erimond could get — Tranquility (a very controversial decision that causes mages in the Inquisition to protest. It's something Arthur dislikes himself, but the weight of Erimond's atrocities justified it. It was a last resort.) He pardons the Warden warriors who surrendered and helped fight back against the demons and mages, and welcomes them into the ranks so that they may find atonement. Perhaps a little bit of idealism towards them and what they do is a part of that, perhaps it's because he's close with Blackwall.

31. What are the Inquisitor's thoughts on Morrigan? Do they trust her?

He absolutely does not at first lmao. She's prickly, keeps her agenda close to her chest and he's naturally suspicious of her because she's an apostate (you can take the mage out of the Circle, but you can't take the Circle out of the mage), but he warms to her when he sees her with Kieran (Kieran I imagine takes quite a liking to Arthur - and while he can't do magic due to being half-dwarf, he does ask Arthur about his own magic quite a bit as well as the Anchor.) and they start talking. About the garden, her Warden, Kieran. And when Kieran goes missing, he's quick to help her.

Saying that though, they clash at the Temple. Arthur doesn't want to use the Well of Sorrows at all - not even giving it to Morrigan. He thinks some things should be left alone and he gets angry with her for not being forthcoming with the information. And he is furious with her when she kills Abelas. She won't stop at succeeding at her goals, no matter the cost, while Arthur is cautious and often ends up overthinking about the decisions. Naturally, there's going to lead to some conflict.

How did Terek get those markings? And I'm DYING to know just what Is happening between him and Ravis 👀👀👀

focusing a bit more on Terek’s POV as he is mine and Ravis is @gruvu’s!

Ravis and Terek started out as fellow younglings and padawans, one considered a prime example of a young jedi, the other regarded as the troublemaker, respectively. Their masters thought it would help Terek to learn from a fellow peer, instead of following an elder’s orders.

Well, teen Ravis very much felt he was too good for this pity project; he knew Terek wouldn’t cut it to become a knight and is not worth his time. That sweet sweet teen entitlement, pride, and overconfidence. He didn’t believe Terek would last for more than a week.

Meanwhile Terek thought Ravis to be a snobbish prick that was handed everything on a silver platter, yet he couldn’t help but feel envious and jealous of Ravis obviously strong connection to the force. Maybe there was some hidden admiration sprinkled in there.

During the years of training together, Ravis quickly realized he’d have to take Terek very seriously, he was definitely his equal even though he had other methods than him. He is beginning to respect him, regard him as real competition and as a proper rival. And, as my pal @gruvu lovely put it: some… gay stirrings. That get shut and buried deep down.

It was pretty similar for Terek, he definitely enjoyed the challenge of keeping up with and one-upping Ravis any chance he gets, sometimes more successful than other times. However I don’t think he was crushing yet.

Then of course the incident happened, both Ravis and Terek suffered under the consequences, and Terek avoided both Ravis and their Master for years until he finally got to leave for Taris. He really didn’t want them to see him like that, especially Ravis.

Which wasn’t a problem, because Ravis couldn’t face Terek even if he did show himself. He blamed himself for what happened to Terek and not being able to save him, despite taking a whole ass sith saber to the chest himself. And thus, he hides away in the holocron archives and focuses on that instead. He refused to do field work anymore, especially not with teams, in case he let down his partner again.

With Ravis forced to go to Taris to check on Terek who had been radio silent, both had to confront their own issues, and the issues they had and still have between them. It takes a LOT of time, and they have several fallouts (with the troopers assigned to Terek having to deal with all that like 🙄 get it together u two), but they fall back into their old rhythm of rivalry, albeit much more friendly than before. and definitely flirty from terek’s side, he’s bolder about his newfound interest in Ravis than his counterpart. Ravis on the other and acts ‚very much like a victorian woman‘ to quote gru and is clutching his meditation beads a bit more tightly. (imagine the scandal of seeing an ankle… blasphemous)

among the banter and gay sparrings and painfully slow burns, the two do end up fully together. (gru and i haven’t entirely explored that part yet hence the short answer!)

What is Vrupet's job in the Empire? is she typically an interrogator? or is that just for funsies?

Vrupet's primary place is in the Dark Council, overseeing the sphere of Ancient Knowledge during base game. However, she interrogates people quite frequently when the need during her missions arises. She likes to get the job done herself if she has the time for it, otherwise she lets others do it. (She is, if anything, a very efficient woman.)

I haven't thought about her during the expansion timeline much tbh. If she stays in the council, she'd definitely be sphere of sith doctrine (ancient knowledge, mysteries and sith philosophy in one sphere). have been toying with her being empress instead of acina and vowrawn though <3 personal brain fodder for sure.

2. Do they ever miss the cult or Bhaal or wish they chose differently? How are we coping is what I'm asking

That's all about the timing - if Kass had been through the Grand Humbling prior to Bhaal's resurrection, she probably would have gone straight back to the cult. Younger Kass loved the attention, she loved the power, she loved everything about it. The sex, the rituals, the torture, she was awful

After Bhaal's resurrection, when she came to realise exactly how expendable she was and how truly violent and unrelenting the presence of Bhaal was in her soul and her thoughts, she rapidly grew distant from it all. She wasn't the sadistic little Orin twin anymore, she was cold and efficient and limited her presence and involvement as much as she possibly could. She wore a mask more often, to limit her sense of personal involvement, so that she could feel more detached and disassociate during the worse rituals

There is nothing and no-one she hates more than Bhaal, post game. It took Ao directly intervening to make her break her oath to destroy him and wipe his name from existence. She does not ever want to go back

9 General 17 Story Specific and 9 in Romance for Amma!

9. Does your Tav have any escalating conflicts with one of the other companions, like Lae’zel and Shadowheart’s knife-fight?

Whilst there probably would be some funny, snarky back and forth with Gale about sorcery vs wizardry (jocks vs nerds), but it would actually be a gradual escalation following the confrontation with Ketheric... with Karlach. Especially with the revelations of Amma's once previous budding enterprising of world domination and questionable relationship with Gortash, a lot of Karlach's complex feelings about the last ten years definitely come rushing to the forefront. What would start off as a verbal confrontation, could escalate very quickly to some shoving before you are witnessing Amma tackle Karlach around the middle, headfirst, throwing her to the ground. Hopefully you got the upgrades to Karlach's engine, because Amma will insist on fighting through the fire regardless! Karlach is more likely to get the upper hand in the fight, especially if you can imagine her hauling Amma up and then slamming her back into the ground. Somehow, they're still arguing through it all as well.

You'd be best to try to get intervening as soon as you can ! Otherwise they'd wake the next day with a broken jaw (Amma), possible burns (Amma), cracked ribs (Karlach), assuming of course you let the fight run a bit. Any more than that and Karlach would succeed in likely managing to knock Amma out. In the slim chance Amma comes out on top, she stops shy of taking a knife to Karlach's engine. Regardless, it would take a couple of long rests before there's a way to break the tension.

Amma:

If this is how she finds out that the player is also a Dark Urge. Hm.

9. How do they react if the PC has sex with Mizora? The Emperor?  Haarlep?

Amma would honestly be quite intrigued with sex with Mizora, and makes you promise to tell her all about it later. You would stink of the hells, and whatever layers you had decided to wander into. Also, choosing Cania would also flag some dialogue with her, especially post the closure of her own companion quest, and she may reminisce on Mephistar and breaking into the vault. But she would definitely want to know. Please tell her. She's begging. She would've nominated herself in your place.

Having sex with the Emperor would... interest her? But in kind of a sick fascination way where she's honestly not all that keen on the idea, anyway. Especially with the combined reveals, and her general aversion to mind flayers as it is, plus yknow. Worming. However it's more like she would like you to describe the tentacles (lmao).

As for Harleep, considering what can happen, what with keeping your soul but handing over your body, engaging anyway, etc etc... honestly she's entranced by the power of incubi, never mind one who has been bound to Raphael for countless years. Equal parts she wants to know what it was like to waver like that, having your soul pulled, just as much pain and pleasure as it may be with another fiend or devil (like Mizora), but she's interested in what hold can be found over Raphael. That, and she figures that is one of the only ways to bed Raphael so, she's into that as well.

General 5: How do they react to the Player Character taking their first tadpole power?

Approval! Sometimes you have to use every tool available to your advantage, and you can certainly get.... creative with using tadpole powers. They also will be fine with taking the power for themself if asked (I personally have them with Favourable Beginnings, Luck of the Far Realms and Illithid Charm)

Story 12 - Is it possible for your Tav to be kidnapped and replaced by Orin?  How is Orin's deception revealed?  How do they react to the PC rescuing them in the Temple of Bhaal?

I'd love to say yes, Orin would definitely kidnap them, but there's no fun in that. Sacrificing a Bhaalist to Bhaal? That's what they'd want lmao.

However:

if Gale is taken, Veszeth will advocate they find him as quick as possible. The wizard is a valuable asset and considering the orb in his chest, they've just delivered a nuke to Orin.

If Lae'zel is taken, then Veszeth will say that Lae'zel will be fine, and that they hope Lae gave Orin a lot of trouble during her kidnapping.

If Minthara is taken, then Veszeth will - like with Gale - impress upon the pc that they need to find her ASAP, and if neither have been romanced, will swear that they'll carve a bloody path through the Undercity themself to get to her if need be.

If it's Halsin then they say "oh he'll be fine" but like. Not in the same way as they'll say Lae'zel will be fine. They're extremely dismissive.
