i'm at the first boss and already overflowing with questions but:

i was not anticipating the return of the bathroom dungeon,

this reminds me of the restrooms sequence in the empire porky building in mother 3 which got me wondering seriously about influences from one game to the other,

why is there a whole ass ultimate weapon sitting around contemplating his existence in the bathroom dungeon,

why did kefka keep the bathroom dungeon around in the first place 🤪
