For the base form, while originally an aquatic lifeform, it was too big to survive on land, so it evolved to be able to become smaller and contort into a humanoid form for greater mobility, but at the cost of becoming weaker. Now, to assume its true form, a Chimera Sui Generis must be submerged in water, which it absorbs like a sponge to gain extra mass.
As a result of this, Ultimate Gax becomes the best of both worlds. It's strength and size is greater than the base land form, though not at the level of the true form, and it's multiple maneuvering tentacles make it more agile in water. It also retains the base form's laser eyes.
