On the first page, a tall woman in a thin dress and bulky jacket walks down the street with an older, tired looking man in scrubs and jacket.
"If you had a long shift, we can always reschedule," says the woman.
"Nonsense," says the man.
"You look tired!" She complains, as the man begins to unlock his front door.
"If I told Sofie that you were not joining us for dinner, I would be in trouble," he says, and the next frame reaches into the doorway and shows a mud hall. A voice rings out of a side door "Hellloooo!"
On the second image, all the characters are in the kitchen, and the man is kissing the cheek of a Sofie, a woman with short and curly hair. "Evening love," he tells her, to which she responds "Evening Jannick."
"And you must be Rowan!" Sofie cheers, her hands clasped in front of her as Jannick wraps an arm around her. Their small but cozy kitchen is behind her and food is steaming on the stovetop. "I have heard so much about you!"
Rowan, the tall woman, crouches to hug her in the next frame, saying "nice to you meet you Sofie" as she gushes "Oooh, you are so beautiful! I cannot believe it has taken us so long to meet!"
On the page, Sofie is elbowing Jannick in the ribs, while he looks off with embarrassment in his face. "Jannick has told me so much about you. Including your white blood cell count," Sofie says teasingly, to which Jannick replies "it is exciting when my patients get better."
They continue to playfully bicker as the next image is a close up of Rowan's face as she giggles behind her hand. The conversation continues as Sofie and Jannick serve dinner, them asking where Rowan is from, and complimenting her hair, and laughing about how the Sofie and Jannick met. The comic ends on them eating dinner at the dining table as they continue to chat. End ID.
