my hot take on Ultimate Upgrade
he is a pure digital/energy consciousness, completely intangible and can only physically interact with the world while possessing technology. ultimate upgrade also has an enhanced processing speed and intelligence and upgraded tech is significantly more improved than regular upgrade

Ultimate Upgrade can separate into smaller units (the Ship-looking blob), which makes him able to fire lasers from multiple parts of his body and unable to be hurt by getting ripped apart. Each individual unit can go out and upgrade a machine that Ultimate Upgrade can control remotely, but they can also join back up into the main body, along with the machines they've gotten, and Ultimate Upgrade can then use all the parts to upgrade himself, like Malware.
