UltimateChaosmon EX6-062
Digimon Evolution Lines 94/∞
BAN-TYO Blade! Chaosmon, debuting in the Digimon Accel, is often made from a fusion of BanchoLeomon and Darkdramon. Chaosmon: Valdur Arm replaces with Darkdramon with Valdurmon. Meanwhile, UltimateChaosmon is made from the fusion of BanchoLeomon, Valdurmon, Darkdramon, and Sleipmon.
Stages: LV6: BanchoLeomon + Darkdramon + Sleipmon + Valdurmon — LV7: Chaosmon — LV7: Chaosmon: Valdur Arm — LV7: UltimateChaosmon
Artwork by Bandai from the Digimon Reference Book, the Digital Monster Card Game (Darkdramon), Digimon Crusader (Sleipmon), and Digimon Collectors (Valdurmon), respectively.

Digimon 30 Day Challenge: Day 7 - Favorite Ultra
Ah, favorite Ultra, or Super Ultimate, or Ultimate+, or Mega 2, or however you want to call it. Sadly, Bandai has never actually made this level official, so digimon like, say, Omegamon may count as Ultra in some works but not in others. So, for this one I’ll assume a digimon counts as Ultra if they’re the fusion of two Ultimate digimon or if they’re explicitely referred to as Ultra in some anime/manga/game.
My choice here is also fairly easy. My second favorite digimon of all!
An abomination, to be sure, but one I find inmensely intriguing. UltimateChaosmon is the forced, imperfect fusion between the 4 “mascot” digimon of the Digimon Accel (BanchoLeomon, Darkdramon, Valdurmon and Sleipmon), a digimon who should not exist, a fusion of mortal enemies, a glitch in the Digital World that its managing system tries to eliminate, but not only has it survived, but it has absorbed even those defense systems (Sleipmon) to become something else. I hope one day an anime, manga or game will visit this piece of lore, because the mere fact that this once existed is fascinating, defies all logic (why did BanchoLeomon and Darkdramon fuse? How did said abomination manage to overcome Valdurmon’s defenses and force it to fuse too? What was Sleipmon’s role in all of this? How was this massively powerful, massively unstable being even defeated?). As far as its design goes, sure, its confusing and messy, but I find that the appeal. There’s just so much going on there because it shouldn’t exist, because its massively unstable and you don’t know when this thing may explode. I sort of wish Omegamon Merciful Mode had taken inspiration on this, rather than just be a whiter Omegamon with wings.
