7: Romantic Kiss

Izuru wasn’t sure how it had come to this… He was especially terrible with expressing his feelings. Perhaps that’s why this had gone on so long… But enough was enough and he wanted an end to it, whether it was because of a rejection or it was acceptance from the Lucky student. It was a sudden move, pale hands cupped Komaeda’s cheeks and Izuru leaning in for a kiss, sweet and romantic; expressing the feelings that he couldn’t find the words to express. Cerise hues fell shut, instinct driving the false hope, hands leaving Komaeda’s face and, instead, holding his hand, fingers intertwined. Pulling away, Izuru locked eyes with the other, gaze trailing away after a moment, distant; appearing emotionless as he stared at the floor. Letting go of the other’s hand, Izuru brushed raven strands from his face. He didn’t like unpredictability… He just wanted to know… He wanted to know what Komaeda’s response would be, plain and simple.
