Still moving along.... 😎
Feet need attention every 10 miles or so but I'm resting up when needed, eating and drinking as much as possible and moving steadily along.
200 isn't going to happen but I'll reach a new PR regardless!

Ultra’s Cancelled: Here’s What you Can Do With Your Tickets
Corona Virus is affected the festival/rave scene in big ways. Whether you want to believe the frenzy around COVID-19 or not, you can’t deny the affects it is having on the world.
Ultra Miami was set to take place March 20-22, 2020, but was cancelled 3 weeks before amid the Florida Governor’s declaration of a public health emergency and CDC’s guidance.
On Monday March 10, Ultra sent an email to all ticket holders with the information on what they can do with their tickets. I think they’re trying their best, and it is at the end of the day a business. If we buy tickets, lots of work and planning already went into the event. We have all bypassed those “Ticket Protection” options when purchasing flights, concert tickets etc. This is the rare occasion when something DOES happen.
So personally people who are just shaming Ultra on socials for not fully refunding tickets don’t understand how the world works. I agree, it totally sucks, but pull it together. You look like a child.
So basically all ticket holders will be give 30 days to make a choice. They can either attend Ultra Miami 2021 or Ultra Miami 2022 -- with some additional benefits. Anyone who buys tickets for 2021 or 2022 outside of those who had tickets for 2020 will not have access to these benefits.
One free ticket to either an Ultra Worldwide or Resistance event of your choice (excluding Miami) valid though 2021 for each 2020 ticket purchased
A discount code for up to 50% off Merch through 12/31/2020
There are ten Ultra Golden Tickets which admit you plus one guest free entrance to any Ultra Worldwide event (including Miami) for LIFE
Exclusive access to a $99.95 private sale to upgrade to PREMIUM GA for Ultra Miami. Its new ticket category which will be available for purchase for $599.95 during the 2021 event sale. It includes expedited entry, upgraded restrooms, a lounge, chill out area and a bar.
Exclusive access to buy up to 2 additional GA tickets for $249.95 during the 20201 Ultra Miami private on-sale
If you choose Ultra 2021:
Extra Ultra Hour: An Exclusive Main Stage Headline DJ performance at Ultra Miami 20201, one hour before doors open to the public
If I was an Ultra fan, and this was my event of the year, these changes would make me more than stoked. But what do you guys think? Would love to hear from someone who was planning on attending and add your perspective to this article!
Some more photos from my 200 miler
I got bad heel blisters so I modified a pair of Crocs for the last 3 days of the race to wear instead of the 3 pairs of running shoes I brought.
I used medical tape to cover the holes and attached my gaiters. Legit looked like rags on my feet 😂 But it took my pain level down from an 8 to a 2 so it was worth it. It's probably worth noting that a couple other athletes modified their shoes as well by cutting off the top section to their running shoes to expose their toes.
This race was hands down the greatest race I've ever done!! There's been many times I haven't felt welcomed by the ultra running community and because of that I've kept mostly to myself when competing. I've never felt so welcome than at this race. Not one single disparaging comment. I competed with runners/walkers of all shapes and sizes. Young and old.
I even helped pace 2 other runners to their first 100 mile finish.
I 100% plan to return next year and every year after that.

If New York doesn’t come back to life soon, I’m moving to Taiwan!
