These mushrooms that have been marinated are full of flavor and go well with salads, sandwiches, or as an appetizer. Adding garlic, balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce together makes them taste savory and umami, which is hard to pass up.
Ingredients: 500g mushrooms, cleaned and sliced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup olive oil. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon maple syrup. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a large bowl, whisk together minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, maple syrup, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Add sliced mushrooms to the marinade and toss until well coated. Cover the bowl and let the mushrooms marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor. After marinating, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated mushrooms and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and browned. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
