Updates about Umbelina

Hello, guys, I came here to tell you the news about my kitten, Umbelina.

As you may have read at this post, she is hospitalised. However, her first prognosis was that, she got attacked, her stress made the symptoms of an infection get worse quickly, that made her liver get high rates of toxins, which came from a mouse (rat poisoned).

But. Apparently, it's not an infection. It's a head trauma, as from Wednesday to Thursday her head "fell" to the side. She can't straighten her head, as you can see at the follow photo.

While she can't stay still, she is getting better: she can move, she can eat alone, her liver is better too. Also, she purred. I can't remember her purring before! She was happy to see us. She is probably return home this Monday, but we don't have sure. Let's hope for the best.

Now, if this isn't really an infection, then our worries about the other kittens disappeared, but we decided to use the money we gained to get them vaccinated and neutered, and as a backup in case Umbelina get worse while at home (we don't want to ask help again to the association that helped us; they already made us a big favour).
