yes you do. the roaming legendaries are never subject to repels? or at least they weren’t. and i had just used a repel when i ran into zapdos yesterday.

really? because i used one and did not encounter moltres AT ALL until it wore off and it was the first thing i encountered????

i agree that it’s better than stereotyping, but i also don’t see a problem with inserting darker skinned characters into anime under usual anime roles? like it fits fine to me. what i don’t like is trying to force them in, like saying “this anime doesn’t have a black character so i’ll make an au where there is one” like 99% of the time it’s really unnecessary

yeah that's where i'm coming from ive been seeing these aus and reinterpretations where darker skinned characters are being forced into it and it just seems unneccessary...

i don't have a problem with darker skinned characters in anime if a darker skinned main or supporting character is well written into the show i'll enjoy the character a lot but it's just not done enough and i doubt it'll change any time soon because it's japan.
