I do the accent thing too. Especially if I've binged a tv series where the characters have a different accent to my own Cali accent. British, Irish, Southern US. Doesn't matter, if I watch enough of it, the accent slips in. My mom does it too. Neither of us have been diagnosed with autism, though. hmmm.

A couple of people with autism said they do it, and a couple with just ADHD, so maybe it’s a thing that people with either do? I shall have to look into this more....

Hi! I was wondering if you have any advice on what exercises to do if you can't move your lower leg independently? Due to cancer in my right thigh, my femoral nerve has been damaged and I can't extend my right leg below the knee without help (either my own or others'), but from my ankle down is fine. I did have physical therapy after the tumor was removed, but they didn't give me strengthening exercises, just exercises to increase range of motion. (feel free to publish this ask, if you want)

I would do the exercises they gave you to increase range of motion, and talk to your doctors about getting strengthening exercise to do in addition to the ones to increase range of motion; maybe they wanted you to attain a certain level of motion before introducing strengthening exercises, or for some other reason I don’t know and that they did not explain to you.

I know how that feels. I got my license in September at age 30 and every other person I saw finishing theirs while I was waiting to take mine was a teenager. One girl was with her sister and they chest bumped when the younger told the older she passed. xD

ahhhh I’m late replying to this, but thank you! I’m turning 30 this month, and definitely won’t be ready to go for the road test until a couple of weeks after that. But! My driving instructor told me during our in-car lesson on Friday: “You’re going to get your license. You’re going to pass the road test. You’re not going to be a great driver, but you’re not terrible.”

And hey, considering how much driving stresses me out? I’ll take that.

And yeah I do. Not saying that all Ravenclaws are a mess or that other houses are neat and orderly, I just think we often don’t have the mental space to worry about how spick and span everything is. We’re pretty go go go when it comes to our thoughts, and we often leave loose ends or things a little unclear for everyone else.
