Otacon is the Metal Gear character, and pronounced AW-ta-con
I can only assume the voice actor had never been to an anime convention

Okay it wasn’t really The Wild but I sure wasn’t expecting it
It was at TopatoCon, a small indie/webcomics convention here in Western Mass. Lots of big-name Homestucks were there (Like Shelby Cragg and Adrienne Garcia), as well as other big webcomic people (I got a Gunnerkrigg Court print signed by Tom Siddell!)
And just wandering around the con was Andrew Hussie.
It wasn’t really all that weird. A Hussie in his natural habitat. I still felt kinda surreal, like on some level I didn’t believe he was a real person, but there he was.

she’s not part of the EVERYONE IS HERE part but in the story mode you can rescue “spirits” from all the different series so there are Metal Gears
ah yeah but I feel like I’m constantly being surprised by how many Metal Gear characters popping up as spirits. That’s really cool!
