Released of the Day: FINAL EXIT - "Umea" (Desperate Fight/Birdnest) - A very, very mid/late 90s style hardcore LP from this Swedish straight-edge crew, who notably featured Dennis Lyxzen (Refused!). Short bursts of energy with a mix of serious and less-so lyrics, but always a poke towards having fun and getting people moving. Musically, Final Exit were on par with Rain On The Parade or a slight precursor to Floorpunch, but with perhaps less focus. When they hit on all cylinders, they could really rip ("17 Scoops", "Roles and Rules", and "Oil Unit Corps God Country"). Wish they had packed in more gang vocals and taken their sound closer towards Raised Fist.
