Who gets excited about Halloween in July:Rin! She can’t wait to (a) dress up however she wants without feeling insecure and (b) get free candy
Who starts wearing sweaters and scarves on the first day of September and completely overheats:Rin just assumes September will be cold, as if weather follows the calendar.
Who thrives in Fall/Who prefers Summer and warm weather:As much as she loves Halloween and her birthday, Rin is more of a summer girl! She likes to be warm so she can spend the day outdoors! Umi likes the comfort and subtle beauty of fall~
Who thinks the other looks so cute when they’re cold and trying to fight it with 50 sweaters:Umi thinks Rin looks really innocent and sweet when she’s all bundled up like a kitten, but she wishes Rin would take her advice and layer her regular clothes instead of turning into a giant ball of sweaters.
Who offers the other their jacket:Umi is always quick to offer Rin her jacket if she needs it!
Who doesn’t want to get out of bed in the morning because it’s too cold and has to run from the warm covers to the shower:Rin has enough trouble encouraging herself to get up, never mind when it’s cold
Who touches the other with their freezing cold feet at night:This is actually Umi! She doesn’t realize how cold her feet are until Rin kicks her as an instinctive response
Who makes the hot cider to snuggle under a blanket and drink:Umi! After a long day, nothing beats snuggling up with a warm drink and a good book!
Who loves carving pumpkins and buys about 300:Rin is no longer trusted to go shopping alone
Who is terrible at carving pumpkins:Rin can’t even carve all the pumpkins she buys tbh
Who thinks pulling the pumpkin guts out with their hands is icky:Umi mainly hates when the guts get under her fingernails! Then they stink and stick to her!
What is their favourite Fall activity:They love fall festival! Rin enjoys the rides, and Umi is AMAZING at all of those “rigged” carnival games! (Umi goes on plenty of rides too, but she won’t do anything that goes too high)
Who gets scared when they watch Horror movies:Umi doesn’t like to admit that she’s a scaredy-cat, but she often finds herself covering her eyes or hiding behind Rin for protection!
Who hands out candy to trick-or-treaters:Umi! Rin never hands out an appropriate amount, but Umi knows how to ration the candy so they have enough for all the kids!
Who accidentally scares the kids:Is it really an “accident” if Rin jumps out of the bushes and hisses at them?
Who suggested the couples costume:Definitely Rin. Umi was way too shy to bring up the idea herself
What is their couples costume:Cheshire Cat and March Hare!
What is the best Halloween they ever had:The year they helped Nozomi set up a Halloween party! Lily White put on a performance in matching costumes, and they spent the night surrounded by their friends! Plus they got to prank all of the other girls, as part of the nights “tricks” to go with their treats~
What is the worst Halloween they ever had:The year Rin made herself so sick on Halloween that she couldn’t properly celebrate her birthday the next day. “Rin, just because you can walk around for 3 hours and collect candy doesn’t mean you should… What happened to that water bottle I gave you, anyway?”(Umi was with her for the first hour, but after that, Rin was unsupervised.)
Who eats too much candy and ends up sick the next day:RIN! Even her appetite can’t handle that much sweet candy
