Hello ~ Tis Saturday again. Una here.
MONSTERS. Working on a project with a monster in it at the moment, the catch being no one, not even the audience, knows what the monster looks like until the very last second. So while this image isn't directly from that project, it is an idea for a panel / sequence / thing that I'm going to work into it. Because I like it. Having lots of fun on this project - half of it is written in Irish as its set in the Gaeltacht. And I have been meaning for ages to get better at Irish.

So still keeping with the heroes and villains theme; here are two characters I created for an animation project a few years ago called "Some Tae". The two heroes of the story are called Dreamer (the girl) and Thing (the..uh... other thing..). One of the smaller comic projects I'm working on at the moment revisits Thing and Dreamer's world and the working title for that is "Something in the Tae" - "Some Tae" was wee three minute animation about an artist who is stuck for ideas drinking a cup of tea that packs much more of a punch that she was bargaining for. So I'm making this post now (I'm actually writing this on the 16th) because on the 19th when I'm supposed to make this post (today, hopefully if I do the tumbling right) I'll be at Akumakon in Galway with very very limited internet access. D: To be perfectly frank, I'm totally classing this as time travel.
So this week's theme was "snow" so I made this. Its a ..... thing. Caterpillar thing? Bug thing?... I dunno. He has a masterful mustache - that is all I know. If I had the capability to grow a mustache, his would be the mustache I'd aspire to have.
