”Goodbye, Cora.”
He’d never admit to it, but he cared about people. A lot. Sometimes it was obvious like with Allison or Boyd and Erica, but other times it was harder to tell. Cora most definitely fell into the category of the latter.
He was making the rounds, saying his goodbyes as he prepared to leave Beacon Hills with the knowledge that he would not be returning and it was time to speak to Cora.
Their friendship was an odd one, one that most consisted of Cora beating him when she was helping train to fight, but it was a friendship he valued and one he would miss. During their fights there would be witty lines, joking smiles and it was fun. Fun was an elusive thing when there was usually something evil entity threatening Beacon Hills.

”—I love you.”
