All through my early life I never “Made OCs” or put a name to any of my drawings. I designed an endless amount of fakemon, digimon, dragons, and all kinds of other creatures. I think maybe I had a Grey Persian cat on Catz pc game I loved that I called Katie. But that wasn’t so much an OC, I just really really really wanted a pet cat.
I never even knew the definition of an OC until I discovered Deviantart when I was about 15.
The earliest actual OC I can remember is probably this guy!
I think I was about 10 or 11 when I made him. Maybe earlier? Probably earlier. I don’t remember his name, I think it was something along the lines of Wilson? or Wilbur?
He was part of a drama class introduction exercise. We were told to make a “perfect predator” by combining various existing animals into one. With all my previous experience of drawing and creating creatures, I was pretty confident I had this one in the bag ;> But then I got pretty attached to the guy and kept him around for a while afterwards.
He was made up of:
Snake head, for venomous bites and hypnotising his prey with his eyes. (Listen, the only understanding I had of snakes at that time in my life came from Disney’s Jungle Book. Shush.) Giraffe neck, so he can see up high and far away. Camel body, for surviving long periods of time in harsh environments without water. Cheetah legs, to run fast, obviously. and Clawing his prey. Bat wings, makes perfect sense to have there. And a Crocodile tail, to swim very fast and good.
I’m amazed I still remember all those specifics.
Anyways! Thank you @unarla for the ask! My apologies for getting so long winded heheh.
I have met you before, but I think this time you will remember. Lady Vengeance- Moulettes I wanted to draw something and this song had been in my head all day cx Pretty happy with this one, I'm getting less suckish at lining c: What do you know, it's another one #69 deathinheavens.tumblr.com/post…
For @unarla! I quietly appreciate their presence on my dash as mutuals >o> in particular, the Tusked Ones look really neat! And I’ve been meaning do some doodles of them for a while!
I love the amount of detail they’ve put into their anatomy. I hope I did them some justice.
Birthday for gift the birthday kid @unarla :D
The Devil’s got nothing on me, my friend. This took precisely 8 play-throughs of the song Beekeeper- Keaton Henson #240 http://deathinheavens.tumblr.com/post/101043837743/colors-from-adobe-color-cc-kuler-respect-artist
I’ve been busy stryxing and have been rejecting my actual oc’s
So here’s some references no one will get if they didn’t watch Anonthefourth stream on youtube.
