दुर्गा - Durga.

Durga is worshipped as a principal aspect of the mother goddess Mahadevi. She is associated with protection, strength, motherhood, destruction, and wars. The word Durga (दुर्गा) literally means "impassable", "invincible", "unassailable". It is related to the word Durg (दुर्ग) which means "fortress, something difficult to defeat or pass".

Her vāhana (mount) is the male lion, what associates her, to a certain extent, with the Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra in vedic astrology which has this animal as its symbol.

She processes the barest minimum of paperwork she can get away with before she heads home for the night, fighting the urge to return to Lux like a homesick messenger pigeon. Lucifer needs time to recover, and he’ll do that much faster if she keeps some distance. Maze had kept her up to date on Lucifer’s non-progress over the past couple of hours, but she takes hope from the fact that there has been no further bleeding, and he hasn’t had any seizures like she’d experienced.

She calls Dan on the way home to let him know they got the last of the band they’d been searching for, that Lucifer has received the antidote, and that she’s headed home to collapse. He offers again for her to stay with him, but she politely declines and heads home to collapse into her own bed.

Her sheets smell like Lucifer.

How is it possible that less than 24 hours ago she was in Rome interviewing an Archbishop? Just this morning she’d helped him up her stairs and settled him into this very bed, leaving him to sleep off his exhaustion. Only eight hours since Eve arrived, then they discovered he’d been poisoned.

Hello! Me again 😂. The other post was getting rather long i think. So i have number 50 here for you if you truly desire to pick it up 😊

50! 50 is the perfect number for this little paragraph, which ushers in my newest problem.

He stirs next to her, snuggling and pulling her closer with a small, sleepy noise and the sound of the clicking heels approaches. Chloe sighs, and re-holsters her weapon. Obviously this is a hopeful tryst, and Chloe clears her throat, battling the sharp stab of jealousy needling at her insides.
