Yes yes yes and yes. I’ve seen someone float the word “squick” as an alternative for “I want to be warned” vs “I have PTSD-style reactions”, but my impression is that that implies grossed-out uncomfortable, instead of uneasy-anxious-discomfort. And being upset by something is valid! It’s just not the same thing as being triggered.

Aw, thank you. I'm ok, just, trying to reduce my reputation as a screwup in general :D Sometimes it's easier to vent to Tumblr than spend the whole day going "oh god, I did the thing, why".

I don’t even know! I read a ton of fic and I thought it would be Fenris but I met Merrill first and she’s so cute I just want to squish her. Anders had a cat named Ser Pounce-a-lot but I already know what he’s going to do. Haven’t met Isabella yet.

Oh man same. I have met Isabella and she's a hoot, but I was planning on Fenris and now I just don't know because they're all glorious trainwrecks and Anders started flirting with ME and I was just sitting there like "did you just?" I love them all.

Though I may have been mistaken about Hawke being the responsible one because that completely discounts the fact that Aveline totally has her shit together and I love her.
