Help!
Where should I apply to live at UNC-G?
I am already applying to Mary Foust, but I really need some backup options. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you!
UNC-G Exit Assessment (survey upon graduating)
UNC-G: Describe what you consider to be the highlight of your experience as a student in the Bryan School.
Me: I've learned a lot in my four and a half years at UNC-G. It's hard to differentiate if I learned these things from growing older and participating in a fulfilling life or if I learned them through supplements from school. I have no highlights.
UNC-G: If someone asked for your advice about attending the Bryan School, what would you tell that person?
Me:Think hard about a four year university. It will be expensive and you probably won't graduate on time. Do you even know what you want to do with you life? If you don't take the time to figure out what it is you want to do. Then if what you want needs a degree then go for it. If not I highly recommend choosing an alternative. College is not the only way.
UNC-G: Other comments: Are there any questions or topics for which you would like to provide additional information?
Me:Student aid as well as the text book market need to be re-done. Why does no one care that students are being exploited semester after semester with meaningless additions that only have switched chapters. Student aid also needs to be re-evaluated. Many parents do not want to sacrifice there standard of living and did not adequately save for their children's education yet these children are forced into debt from the start. Shouldn't there be grants to protect, not just the most academic bright, but also the average? Shouldn't these children who are forced into debt not bear the weight of their elders? There's more, I just don't think you guys care for anything beyond the bottom line.
