[MSG]:I guess my company doesn't interest you any more. {casually slips this in, cause angst. -flops-}
That was the first and only word that came to her mind the moment she saw what was displaying on the screen of her communicating device. Confusion flooded her mind and she had to pause for a long while, trying to recall what would be the reason the hybrid would send this kind of message to her. His company doesn't interest her anymore? What was he saying? Where did he get that from?
Her fingers moved to try to type out a reply, but for some reasons, she didn't know what to say or what to feel. Was she angry? Sad? Probably everything all at once. And she still couldn't think of why he would send her this. It's true that she hadn't seen him for a few days... but only because she had her own duties to worry about and how the demons were escaping through the rifts. She was busy handling that with some friends-- Her companions who helped her fight those--...
And that was when it clicked within her mind... Or at least that was what she speculated to happen.
Did he happen to see her with them? When they weren't meeting up? Maybe that's why he thought she no longer felt like spending time with him? That his company no longer interests her? Who was he kidding!?
Instead of typing out a message to reply, she slid her phone back into her bag and immediately got up from where she was seated, heading up the stairs and finally, finding herself up on the rooftop and true enough, discovered the male who was secluding himself up alone. Closing the heavy door of the rooftop behind her, she gained his attention where the phoenix instantaneously marched up to him, much to his surprise where she could see he was still holding his phone. Was he expecting her to text him back?
Her hands seized his shirt just a little below his collar, showing her riled up emotions but not that she was too rough with him. Just enough to convey that she wasn't happy with his message one bit, and her vermilion optics looked straight into crimson irises.
"I was busy fighting, you idiot! Do I have to shove it to your face that yes, I do miss you!?"
That was quite a way to tell him she missed him anyway. But it worked, probably.
