mack may not be the most observant person, but he knows when someone is looking at will. all day he had to watch leno side eye will up and down. in the pool, making dinner, sitting around the couch. mack just wants to grab will by the neck and pull him in, or throw his head in will’s lap, or leave a big splotchy purple mark on will’s neck that reads: taken.

but he can’t. because nobody knows.

and will’s apparently more observant than mack because everytime mack is glaring at the back of leno’s head, will whispers at him to cut it out. mack doesn’t even really inherently hate ryan, he just hates that ryan thinks he loves will more than him, knows him more than mack. which he does not.

eventually when they’re all spread out in the living room for a movie, mack has had enough. he can feel the eyes on will. It’s searing and spreading through him, burning hot white with jealousy. 

“it’s late, i’m going to bed.” mack announces, not even bothering to look back before going straight to will’s room. will’s room that’s really their room but leno can’t know that.

so he strips and sets himself up on will’s bed, sitting back on his ankles. he wastes no time reaching for the lube and starting to tease himself. at half a finger he’s already whining and by the time he’s worked two in, will bust’s through the door. mack’s head snaps up, cheeks blushed and his skin is a little tacky from the heat.

delicious, here's what popped into my head:

lately mack’s noticed an influx in people recognizing will. they all love him, which is fine, because what’s not to love. in fact, it would probably be a bigger issue if they didn’t love him. mack wouldn’t stand for that.

but the increase in interactions also means an increase in people touching will and talking to will. mack knows he can’t tell will to stop being nice to people, that would be ridiculous. so he does the comes to the most obvious solution: make sure everyone knows he’s mack’s. well, someone’s, anyway.

mack practically attacked him on the couch, licking and biting and sucking at will’s neck. will, keeps telling mack to be careful, but lets him keep going anyway. mack realizes he doesn’t know how he’s been living without this. the feeling of will’s skin between his teeth is so good and genuinely fuck everyone else, this is all for him.

will has to rip him off of his throat and pull him back by his hair to find mack all flushed and blown pupils. 

“mack, what the hell?” will tries to be serious but he’s painfully into this. painfully into mack.

“can it be yours a little more subtly?” will pokes, but secretly his head spins.

mack is not a fan of that, not one bit. so he narrows his eyes, scowls, then dives right back into the other side of will’s neck. he smirks into it when will groans.

while taking a picture for will and a fan the next day, mack is behind the camera, smug and smiling wide, fighting the urge to zoom in on the beautiful reddish purple marks that he made.

pondering floppy ear bunny hybrid mack that spends a lot of time keeping his long ears nice and silky and clean, taking pride in it. he gets quite upset when they get too dirty or messed up because they’re very sensitive and very important to him.
