These nights.
These nights,
I crawl into bed,
I dig into the covers and I bury myself in them, with the cruellest intentions.
I find a nice, comfortable position within the loam and the minerals and I think.
I ruminate
I contemplate and re evaluate everything that has happened until I have rationalized every good and bad thing to a point where they start to resemble dots on a map. And I can't
And I won't connect them.
So I sit here, buried in my sheets, unable to move. Waiting for sleep to arrive so that I may have another day,
another chance.
And then my phone lights up.
And it's you.
And you make me smile.
