For #cello music fans this is the week to be in Greensboro, NC. We are celebrating the life and music of #cellist, Lev Aronson (http://bit.ly/1RHIPx1), with two concerts featuring his student, one of the great masters of the instrument alive today, Lynn Harrell.

World-renowned cellist Lynn Harrell will join the #UNCG Symphony for a performance of Ernest Bloch's Hebraic Rhapsody, "Schelomo." The overture to Beethoven's opera "Fidelio" and Mussorgsky's magnificent "Pictures at an Exhibition" round out the program.

Internationally-renowned cellist, Lynn Harrell, will complete his UNCG residency with this recital of virtuosic works including those of Lev Aronson, Mr. Harrell's cello teacher. Lev Aronson, himself a cellist and composer, was interned in both a Nazi Concentration Camp and a Russian Labor Camp.
