Right before my trip to Spain, I picked up the @Sony a7sII and I am really quite happy with the image quality it is producing for video! Amazing what such a little camera can do these days! Crazy to say, but this is not how's valley, it is this amazing area in Spain that has identical rock to that in Joe's Valley. Yesterday, I was blown away by the quantity and quality of the rock here and know that I will be back very very soon! It's amazing how much incredible untouched rock there is out there. Here is one first ascent I did yesterday, "Odek" V10 (7C+), a mini roof to a tall and committing vertical finish. #bouldering #rockclimbing #unchartedlines

First ascent number 4 from my top 5 list from 2015, "a long way gone" V6 on the border of Zimbabwe and Mozambique! It was such an amazing experience to be able to travel to such a far off land, climb, and meet the local people. Super psyched to have made the second ascent of jimmy's brand new one, "king's of contortion" 8B+ (V14) the other day! Over the past month, I have been climbing all over the state of Tennessee while filming for my new film, @uncharted_lines. Videography has definitely become my favorite artistic outlet during my adventures. To say juggling climbing and videography is hard is definitely an understatement but I enjoy the creative process of both so much I would never want to stop doing either. As the sun was setting the other day @nk_ceria cruised to the top of yet another amazing new boulder deep in the forest of Tennessee while I stood behind the camera and witnessed his ascent! I am really happy with how this shot turned out; it really captures the forest feel. We are almost done filming the south east section of the film and I am already looking forward to what is coming next! #bouldering #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #escalade #unchartedlines (at Chattanooga, Tennessee)
