Mila recently started walking herself into the paddock and Oscar was worried about her wandering off so he implemented that if she ever got lost find someone in orange.

“Alright angel, if you can’t find daddy or mommy who do you look for?” He asked crouched to her level and running a hand through her hair.

“Orange people!” She piped up. He smiled and kissed her forehead. He talked with his engineers and such for a while.

Mila walked off to what she believed was Oscar’s driver room but was mistaken and it was Lando’s. She couldn’t open the door and whined until Lando opened it and she fell through the doorway.

“Shit, shit.” Lando whispered. She started crying and Lando picked her up. “I’m sorry munchkin, I didn’t know it was you at my door.” He said.

She was whining and crying on his shoulder while he rocked her in his arms while shushing her. He rubbed her back and said sweet words to her to calm her down.

“Does anything hurt?” He asked. She nodded and pointed to her knee. “Oh I’m sorry little one, can I kiss it better for you?” She shook her head and he laughed. “No? Okay, what if we go find daddy?” She shook her head again and he laughed.

“Lala is funny.” She said, her tears drying up. He tickled her and got a giggle. Lando brought her to Oscar anyway, he didn’t want to cause his teammate to have a heart attack because she ran off.

“Look who I found.” Lando said. Oscar whipped around and noticed the tears. He also noticed the smile she had.

“Did Lala hurt you angel?” Oscar joked. She shook her head at him and he smiled. “Well, why the tears then?” He asked wiping one away.

“Lala opened his door.” She explained. He had no idea how that led to tears but Lando would explain.

“Lala opened his door while she was trying to get in.” Lando said. “Just a little trip huh Mila?” He asked.

“Well it looks like Lala has the best remedies.” Oscar said with a smile. Mila reached for Oscar and was taken in. A yawn following her.

“She’s a sweet munchkin, but she’s also a quiet escapee.” Lando laughed.

“Find orange people!” She said with a giggle. Lando scrunched his eyebrows before Oscar explained and then praised her recognition skills.

“Let’s find mama so we can have a nap angel.” She didn’t protest, the crying wore her out.

Revenge

Summary— Mila plotted revenge for when Lila laughed at her for losing her pacifier at the previous race, causing 4 men to look around the paddock.

Dad Fic List

One of the race weekends Mila had lost her pacifier and Lila found it funny. Now Mila had planned on hiding Lila’s blankie, her favorite one.

The little girl wasn’t that good at hiding, but Lila would never find her blankie and Mila was sure of it. They played together in the paddock as the drivers daughters did.

When the day was over and Lando was ushering Lila to leave she stopped him. “Blankie daddy.” She whined. He put her down and rummaged through her bag.

“Where did you put it last?” He asked. She didn’t know, she ran off with Mila when they got there. She started crying and caught Oscar’s attention. “She misplaced her blanket.” Lando explained.

He texted Carlos and asked if Lila left it in William’s when she visited, same with Max. Lando had 4 grown men looking around for his daughter’s favorite blanket.

The entire garage wanted to leave too but couldn’t until Lando and Oscar left, so they were also scrounging the garage looking. Lila was having a meltdown, scared she lost her favorite blanket.

“We’re going to find it Lila, but I need you to calm down.” Lando said sitting down with her. She sniffled into his chest as he held her close. He knew she walked into the garage with it.

Suddenly Mila started giggling. An uncontrollable laughter coming from her as she rolled. “Mila, why are you laughing?” Oscar asked, slightly rude from the annoyance of looking for a blanket.

Mila quieted her giggles and Lila scolded at her. “Daddy she took it!” Lila accused. Lando informed his daughter that making assumptions isn’t nice. “No daddy! She laughed at me!”

Lando sighed and looked to Oscar and Mila. “Did you take her blankie?” Lando asked. He shouldn’t be parenting Mila but Oscar wasn’t usually one to get mad at her.

Mila nodded sheepishly and Oscar jumped in. “Mila!” He snapped, making her jump. “Go get it right now!” Mila walked to Oscar’s driver room and pulled the missing blanket from behind his couch.

“Blankie!!” Lila squealed and snatched the blanket out of Mila’s hands. Lila blew a raspberry at Mila and Lando stopped her.

“Absolutely not.” He lightly tapped her head as a reprimand. Oscar told Mila to apologize. She did and everyone got to leave, Max and Carlos meeting them outside to tell him they didn’t find one, only to see Lila with the blanket.

“You found it?” Carlos asked her. She nodded and cuddled into Lando more. They all headed home with a laugh as the little girls had played revenge on each other.
