Uncle met up with his old friend from Christchurch, Christina Mao Tseng and family at Uncle Man Express, IMAX Centre. Christina was at The Garden Brasserie, Chateau On The Park, Christchurch and Uncle stayed at the hotel when he presspassed every new magazine. Christina and family are up in Auckland for a summer break. Husband Henrry TeChang Tseng is chef/co-owner at Curious Palate Cafe Bistro, Christchurch. Uncle and Chef Henry had a lot to talk about as he's so passionate about food. Pakcik Najib, owner of Uncle Man is making the roti canai today, with aplomb I might add. Uncle Man (K Rd & IMAX) make the best roti in Auckland, served fresh and fluffy, with dhal or curry. The adults are having roti canai, char kway teow and nasi lemak with beef rendang. The children Jireh and Kaelan are having wat tan hor. They are loving it. Gideon, the youngest is perfectly happy being fed what we're all having. How wonderful to catch up and reminisce with Christina & Henry.
