Here is some 2-D and physical footage of the Fall 2016 unConference that I put together as a volunteer with the HSU Library. Thank you to all who came out and presented at the unConference. The day was full of creative talks and techniques to express yourself. The booklets and bottles were a team effort! Cheers,

Today, the Humboldt State University library hosted the UnConference, an annual series of presentations and workshops that focuses on getting us out of our comfort zone. This year’s presentations included “How a Straight Man Turned Gay,” “Tweeting Genocide,” and “Activist’s Self-care Toolbox.” This year’s UnConference is highly interactive as we show off some of our new tech, like the 3D scanner and our new Scholars Lab.

The UnComfort Zone is a room that allows one person at a time to reflect on uncomfortable experiences in their lives. Anonymously, they can respond to questions such as “What uncomfortable thing you’ve done was the scariest?”
