This is Solstice he is an archangel that gained a bunch of power from replacing the moon. And making people worship him.
As an archangel they aren’t supposed to be worshipped individually. But since his impressive growth in power he is on his way to being promoted instead. Each archangel has an assistant called a Proxy that finds and singles out those who are disloyal to their higher ups. His proxy is a snail named Cake!
