Revelation 8:10, 11

At Revelation 8:10, 11, John sees falling from heaven the star called Wormwood, signifying the clergy of Christendom. This star falls to earth, and makes the waters of earth bitter, turning what was once the lifesaving water of truth into the distorted false teachings common among Christendom today. As true Christians we are eager to help those we meet in our ministry leave this wormwood and gain spiritual truth.

This was my Bible highlight at the Circuit Assembly last Saturday. I lost my first paper and just spilled water all over my backup copy. I figured I should probably write it down before I lose it.
