A little sunday morning tvpaint rough sketch. Again im not worried about it looking pretty with animatiom you must have rough sketches. Original source was the goldenflowers arc of underline. HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNDERLINE

One year to the day a comic series would be created that would change the aspect of my life and my goals bringing me back to the wonderful world of Animation. Underline has hit their one year anniversary with too many panels/pages to honestly count. The fact that there was SO MUCH content released from this 3 person team in the span of a year is seriously incredible especially for the circumstances that most of the information had to be dug out from the game itself. Their hard work and Dedication is Incredible and honestly is inhuman too me.

While my initial plan was to have a Animated sequence of the Golden flowers cover page released on this day. I was unable to reach my goal  but i’m not upset (As if this series doesn’t do it enough to me) I’ve been steadily improving my skills and trying to climb the ladder of drawing/Animation and some film cinematography.  However I do have a present i can at least share right here and right now. During my time for the last two months i’ve been studying storyboarding and improving my art at the same time. It’s been tough on some days more then others but i’ll make it. My present is the first two scenes presented in a storyboard format.I still have a long way before i can turn all of this into a animatic and eventually a animation  but i haven’t given up on this and with the kindness this team has given me from the first day i ever picked up a pencil to the day i bought my tablet, I steadily improve and will make this a very memorable animation.

This first page is the opening scene of the animation which covers the first 5 panels of the comic. Adaptation is hard as  you have to consider which direction the camera is facing.

This Second page is a very rough attempt at building a opening sequence with title cards and all.  (This isn’t in the original comic pages but i learned that i have to add/take away in some cases)

The third page is at the park where chara and their mom are admiring the flowers. While the character design isn’t there (You can’t see their faces) I’m more concerned about getting the scene  correct so when i do this digitally it becomes a lot easier for me and i know which direction i want to go. 

~Conclusion~

I want to say thank you again to dusty/tem and anna for having faith in me. When i had nothing to start from. No prior skill and just being a amazing friend to a die hard fan. Here is to your success and Here is to underline!
