Not scared in a “dangerous” sense of the term, like my life is not being threatened, but I do have a fear that keeps coming to the back of my mind whenever I finish an episode of UnderRadar.
That fear, being the end of UnderRadar’s first year.
When I started the show, I already had so many great ideas of how a “Season 2″ would go down, with ideas such as making a change from my host being 2D to being a 3D model, maybe with a cool story like Toonami’s “The Intruder” to explain the change or something. I also planned for ideas in case 3D didn’t work like going to static poses with no more animated moving mouth and instead a much more expressive form of my host where you’d probably see his legs as well and him jumping around the screen and being much more expressive than his professional stance of just standing there moving his arms about at times.
But by far the one plan I had, which seems like it isn’t possible at this point, was making each “Season” last a full year. So in essence, 12/13 episodes of UnderRadar per season (considering they take a month to make each), but the fact is that my show is still not very known, so I don’t have a big enough audience where I could try to maybe try a crowd funding campaign to help make the changes I wanted for a season 2 to go down. This is the fear that I had, that some of my ideas may never see the light of day, or won’t be accomplished in the manner I had hoped, but don’t take my fear as ungratefulness.
I am beyond grateful for those who have watched my show, liked it, shared it around, and even took the time to subscribe to my channel because they felt my content was worthy enough for their time that they wanted more. I am so happy each and everyday I see the view count rise on my videos, even if it’s a tiny bit, and I do my best to reply to any comment I receive.
I love UnderRadar, and I want to keep making it, and keep improving it, and I won’t stop because I believe in my show and my dream is to make a living out of doing this show. I am determined to keep this show going, and to eventually make my “Season 2″, and 3, and 4, and so on, and show you guys all my cool ideas I have and maybe even create NEW SHOWS for you guys to enjoy.
I made this post because I just finished rendering an UnderRadar episode, and I’m afraid of how this year is going to end without the cool changes I wanted for the show, but part of me is a bit excited while I write this, because one day I do hope to bring about those changes on the show, and I hope you guys will love it as much as I will making it (with the help of those I find along the way on this journey).
I want to end this post by thanking you all for reading this, and thank you to those who watch my show, like my show, LOVE my show, shared it with friends, and felt it was worthy of a subscription. I hope I don’t let you down and I hope you guys stick around with me for the long haul as we try to build a community that spreads the word about these obscure and underrated games.
P.S. - I’d love your support for this show if you can. If you know cool artists who can make affordable artwork like maybe an affordable 3D model (preferably LOW POLY) that is fully rigged and posable, or a whole lot of static poses, be sure to send them my way.
If you know an affordable animator who can make a cool Season 2 intro, send them my way.
If you know a musical artist who can help with an intro/outro theme, send them my way.
If you could share my show, my videos, my channel, you’ll have my gratitude.
Every bit helps, and I’m so grateful for all that you guys do for me, from those who watch my show, to those who helped me even create this show! I’ll never forget this!
