I did very much enjoy the first episode of ExU: Divergence.
But...
My nitpicky self thinks Liam was too nice about the Goodberries. Too nice about Wanderer (though that one's more because Brennan had already bent the rules).
Goodberry says it provides "all nutrition" for a day. Arguably, that includes water. Yes, the Con saves were based on more than lack of food, BUT - you get 10 Goodberries a day, there are only 12 of you. So you only need "nutrition" for two. Which means everyone would have to fail their Survival checks to not have enough. You're still going to have Con saves from all the hiking, and the harsh environment, but it might be a slightly easier DC? Say 5 points lower? Also - given Brennan gave them Advantage on other rolls because of Wanderer, I'm surprised he didn't do it for that as well. Sure, they can't get the full effect - it's not a plentiful environment - but it's not like they lost all knowledge and skills, there's just less to find. So something like Advantage would be a decent modification.
It's weird, because Brennan is usually really good at honouring player creativity and chutzpah, and seems out of character for him not to honour Liam and Celia clearly building characters to have relevant abilities.
*shrug*
