Undyne grew up in the Waterfall and turned into an anglerfish to adapt to the dark environment. She prioritizes swiftness over defence, since criminals can easily escape and hide in the dark. If she can catch them before they get too far, they won’t have time to play hide and seek.

haii, question, is Papyrus and Undyne still besties in this AU or..?

They used to be close friends and brainstorm ideas for puzzles together. Their ideas would get so dangerous they wouldn’t be able to do them, but they had fun. Undyne was the only person Papyrus could call a friend

It was until Undyne got a promotion and became the leader of the royal guard that they started to talk less. Crimes had gone up and she no longer had time to play around. Papyrus still tries to get her to keep in touch though.

Is there a specific journey about how the AU developed in universe?? Like did it start as canon, then slowly overtime it Became Undersales, or from the beginning, since the beginning of the monster race etc, it was just Like That???

Ooo, does the type of wares each character sells depend on the character themself? Like does Undyne only sell weapons/armour, or would she also sell healing items?

Is the system only restricted to adult monsters? Would child monsters help sell their parents/guardians stuff until they came of age? I'm asking if Monster Kid would sell u stuff, lol.

1. Since the beginning, monsters have a very high interest in shiny things, such as gold. Therefore, money has a really big role in the Underground. They also just adopted human’s capitalism I guess.

2. Every character will sell things depending on their personality. Undyne wouldn’t give you her weapons/armour though. If you want armour or weapons, you’ll need to steal them from her, gain her trust or talk to Gerson.

3. No, children can also have their own shop if they want to work (or have nothing else to do). Monster Kid doesn’t sell stuff, instead they play the tambourine on the streets (you have the option to give them money or ignore them)
