UNDERSALES

An alternate universe where money defines your worth. Steal gold or create bonds with monsters to get through the Underground.

Basically, I wanted an AU where everyone had their own shop and sold different food/objects. So, I made the Underground a big marketplace where everyone wants to get your money!

Would the story be frisk helping the monsters unlearn the need to have so much money? or would nothing really change when it comes to story?

(For the first question) The long story short, Frisk helps monsters learn that money shouldn’t define who you are. Don’t forget yourself in the cost of greed.

(For the second question) Technically, Frisk can in fact just leave the Underground without changing anything.

Orrrr they can help rise a revolution and overthrow Asgore. Maybe elect a new leader, maybe cause anarchy, who knows.

Sales!Undyne new design

For context:

Undyne grew up in the Waterfall and turned into an anglerfish to adapt to the dark environment. She prioritizes swiftness over defence, since criminals can easily escape and hide in the dark. If she can catch them before they get too far, they won’t have time to play hide and seek.

For context:

In the beginning of monsters’ banishment, the Waterfalls was illuminated by colourful gemstones found on the walls. The shines attracted monsters and later were exploited for jewelry, clothes, gadgets, architecture, etc.

Eventually, gemstones started to be rare and the Waterfalls became darker and darker.

Now, it’s almost pitch black and the habitants of this section have to carry a source of light to be able see and move around (like Napstablook’s lamp or Gerson’s head lamp).

When the brothers found the cabin, it had lots of mechanic tools and broken gadgets. They had no idea what they were used for, so they decide to sell them instead. The floor was also dusty, but they cleaned it up right away.

Welcome to Grillby’s! You can buy food and drinks, but since Frisk is like 9 years old, Grillz won’t let them buy alcohol. Maybe there are some other ways to get some?

You can also gamble- I mean play cards with the royal dogs. Since they’re on break, they’ll be friendly with you. If you win, you can either take their gold, or ask them to buy something for you. If you lose, you get your gold back, but get nothing in return.

The residents of Snowdin are pretty loose when it comes to rules. For them, the most important part is to have fun!

I don’t know if I’m gonna make a fully fledged comic telling the whole story of Undersales. I think showing small moments and lore in my head about it is a better choice for me, especially since life is kinda a lot rn. So expect some short comics about the characters in the future ^_^

Hello there ! I really love your Undertale AU UnderSale and I especially love how you drew Papyrus and Muffet ! Oh ! About this, can I have a picture of UnderSale Papyrus ? I think he is like Muffet when he says "GIVE ME ALL OF YOUR MONEY !" because in my head, I have a headcannon where Papyrus is greedy exactly like Muffet about money and I love this headcannon.
