Gaster was also not impressed by Papyrus' poor grammar, so he sent him to ask River person, who actually bothered to teach him

UnderTheAngel!Papyrus is such a cutie pie, I could just eat him up

YAP INCOMING! Totally a random ramble about Papy, and how he acted before the.. Well, when he was younger

P1-104 (Papyrus) was always much more defiant than his brother. Of course this was because of ██████ (Riverperson) who planted seeds of doubt and was the father Gaster never was. ██████ gave him human books, taught him things about the world, and treated him like a son instead of a test subject. Because of all the things ██████ was saying about Gaster, Papyrus grew to hate him, hate what he stood for and his obsession. It was only after Papyrus accidently got ██████ fired that Papy started to act, sneaking around, finding out the truth and trying to save his brother despite their strained relationship. He tried running away plenty of times, but it only resulted in his legs being broken time and time again. he never stopped though.

As much as he despised his creator, he picked up a few things from him. How to lie, manipulate and gaslight, he learned to observe, pick apart what made someone so insecure so he could use it against them, something he commonly does to S2 (Sans) he hates doing it, but manipulating his brother to feel guilty buys him time. Even if it causes S2 to retreat into himself more often then not

One day, after ███ he ██████████████████████████████████████████████waited ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ kept ████████ until █████████████████████████████████████████ left ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ hurt ████████████████████████████ got out.

Now Papyrus is a cadet! Living in snowdin with his brother, he ditched those old habits, or atleast... did he? He cant remember, not that it matters anymore. He still gets those weird feelings about something not being right, that he's being watched, he has feelings about people he doesn't remember meeting, and for whatever reason, he REALLY hates the head Priest. He cant remember the name though, maybe it started with a G? He visits ██████ (Riverperon) he doesn't know why, he just does. It helps him feel calm, and ██████ is a good friend. From time to time, Papyrus does something. He doesn't mean to, but when he and Sans get into fights, Papyrus ████████████, and Sans looks at him funny and hides in his room.. Oh nevermind! None of that. Papyrus loves engineering! He builds all this cool stuff and for whatever reason, he knows exactly how the core works. Occasionally he'll fix the artificial suns, or help Alphys with something, and he's very good at it. He just doesn't remember learning it.

Mettaton rambling below + Wip I was working on before Krita crashed

Hapstablook also known as Mettaton on TV. He stumbled across Alphys in the dump, they got to talking and this led to a friendship! One day, Alphys came to Hapstablook in a bind, and he agreed to help out. Posing as a robot she 'made' to aid her reputation and save her job, and it worked! Mettaton is a robot preacher, spreading the Angel's good word through the broadcast, it also monitors the cameras, at least Alphys got that working. All Hapstablook has to do is play the part. He loved the part, no doubt about that, he loved the attention, he loved putting smiles on monster's faces. But it felt.. Fake.

Hapstablook's shell is malleable, he has better control over its shape then most. But his form didn't feel right, it didn't feel like him. He's changed before, but they rarely felt like him, and when they did the monsters around him were confused and critical of it. So he stopped. Sticking to the form his parents gave him, only changing in the comfort of his home. He became a recluse, unable to leave home without the fear of being judged. Then he met Alphys, she introduced him to human things, anime, magazines, and games, and a certain game caught his eye. And suddenly something clicked. He found every bit of material relating to the game, and something took shape. Something that felt like him. Of course he couldn't leave the house like that.

Papyrus was a weird guy, but he and Hapstablook got along. They got close, close enough for Hapstablook to show Papyrus what he had been working on. A human like form, and the clothes to pair. It wasn't perfect, but it was him. Papyrus was inspired, and may have gone overboard to make Mettaton a new body, so his friend could feel like himself on stage, even if it was behind a different name.

Mettaton is just a persona he puts on. Like a Drag queen basically. It is how he wishes he looks sometimes, but it's makeup for him, a persona.

Because he's constantly leaking magic, he has to eat a lot. And it takes a lot to maintain such a large form. He will gladly accept food from anyone and WILL make something in return

On the note of eating because of magic, his bed is made out of coal, otherwise he will burn out completely- aka die

He doesn't need glasses, but it makes others feel better, knowing where he's looking, and where to look at him to make 'eye contact'

His flames are hot and oddly soft? They also tickle. But, if he's angry or trying to hurt you, they can and will burn

He loves dancing. A lot like bees, his flames will dance a certain way, and that's the way he speaks. Not everyone knows how to read him, so he sticks to common ASL (Sans can understand him)

Despite taking a lot to maintain a tall form, he likes being tall. It makes him more intimidating and it's easier to protect others that way

He can be any shape, tall, short, buff, skinny, as big as Asgore or as small as a mouse. You could put him in your pocket.

Water doesn't hurt him, it's just annoying to deal with, he can walk safely through Waterfall, but the rain makes it difficult. Undyne and other Monsters who use water as magic weapons can hurt him, and are more likely to do more damage though
