im gonna try explain this the best i can ;)

-tutorial by @undertheniall​

-things you need:

photoshop (im using photoshop cs5 extended)

cut out picture

texture (for a background)

brush (im using heart shape one)

1.so first you need to create new file (duuh)

2. Paste your texture you want to use it for a background

3.Now create new layer and click on shape tool and then ellipse tool

4.Now put the shape on your new layer (im using the same color as the background - grey)

5.Now go to blending options on that layer

6.And choose stroke like this:

7.Now paste your cut out pic:

8.Change the size if you want. Then use magic wand tool:

and select (on the layer with your shape) the inside of your shape. then click right and choose ‘select inverse’ so it looks like this:

9.Now choose eraser tool and get rid of bottom half of your cut out pic

10.Now its time for our lil animation. so first thing we do is create new layers. in this case, i need three so every heart is on a seperate layer. now choose your brush(like i said im using heart one)

and then im gonna put one heart on each layer (im also changing the size of the brush)

now i have something like this:

11.Ok so now we just gonna create really easy animation. first choose Window->Animation (you can, of course, use timeline for this also but im not even gonna bother for 6 frames)

12.Now we’re gonna create frames

on a first frame we wont put any hearts

-now create new frame

and on this frame we need one heart like this:

then create another frame... on this frame were gonna put 2 hears

then another frame with 3 hearts

next layer is going to be with two hearts

and then last layer with 1 heart

13.Ok we are almost done. Now choose select all frames and change delay time :

14.AND WE ARE DONE! now save it like a gif ->Save for Web & Devices
