I wish I could animate. I think I'm just gonna practice with an easier style until I get the hang of it, because trying to use my regular style (which i don't use many guidelines for) is really difficult for only just now learning animation... hh (A ramble about my undertale au below!)

I want to animate UnderVice Frisk (that I call Risk) falling into the underground and during their first reset.. For those that dont know (which is probably everyone reading this ramble lol), UnderVice is my Undertale AU. I dont talk about it a lot, but it is relatively finished in terms of plot and lore, I just have to write it and finish the concept art of all the main characters (and some background characters) In UnderVice, Frisk is unable to SAVE. When they die, they're forced to start from the very beginning. Now, it wouldn't be bad, if the timeline itself didn't change every death. It could be a small change, like just the flowers at the start being slightly more pink than before, or their sweater being a different color, or it could be a big change, like the bridge in Snowdin [Snow Town in UV] being gone, or the Door to the Ruins being collapsed... So, the first reset would be a big deal, since they had just expected to die. And then it would just get annoying. UnderVice doesn't have a set-in-stone "Genocide" route, but I have some ideas for an offshoot of the main story (comic + fanfic) where Risk does do a Genocide route out of frustration.

I've put a lot of thought into this AU, I just don't have much motivation to actually write it. A comic is different, don't have to explain expressions or movements like I do with writing, but im not good at backgrounds, so I'm trying to learn backgrounds with the sims 4 and minecraft :)

The Royal Family

Data Log 0.2 - Dr. Alphys Jasper

From what I've gathered about the Royal Family, it seems as though they are all BOSS Monsters. Now, this wouldn't be unusual for a family of high status. However, it is weird for a Monster Child to be born at a level a BOSS Monster is right after they are born.

The Royal Family are close friends of Gaster. They seem to have known each other for a very long time, probably longer than I've been alive. It's fascinating to see the bond between King Asgore, Queen Toriel, and Dr. Gaster.

Toriel, Asriel, and Chara seem to have moved away from the Castle. One can only wonder what happened between the family. Perhaps a rift has formed due to the near-death of the adopted child, Chara.

Asriel is afflicted with a sickness we've started to call Determination [DT] Sickness. Essentially, it's a sickness brought on by excess DT in a Monster's soul, as most Monsters can't stand lots of DT at a time. They can expel the DT build-up by using magic frequently, but since Asriel is still a child, he hadn't had much practice or knowledge of magic before he became too sick to expel the DT that had built up over time. We suspect the sickness came about due to exposure to Chara's human magic.

However, we have found that a Monster can survive DT Sickness if they have at least half of a human soul. Chara gave half of their soul to Asriel but now suffers from a sickness that is from the lack of DT. Since they are a DETERMINATION soul, they require more DT… we're able to provide a supplement as of now, but they are no longer able to use their human magic.

Further investigation is required.

[Additional Notes attached by Dr. W.D. Gaster; Asriel was close to dusting by the time we had figured out that half of a human soul would help him. Unsuspected consequences arose with the addition of a human soul, however, as Asriel gained strange abilities regarding flowers, stars, and other things we don't quite know the extent of yet. Further testing is required.]

Snow Town, Human Residents

DATA LOG 0.1 - W.D. GASTER

Following the data I found over various, repeating days, I've started to memorize the names of the few humans who pass the Temple Ruins' border. The humans who reside in Snow Town or have passed through have grown more comfortable talking to Monsters that live in the other Weather Zones. Papyrus seems fond of the humans, whereas Sans is quite... hesitant.

Frisk Alton Frisk is the youngest of the three and admittedly the most interesting in regards to soul type and pure ability. They're fourteen [14] years old and wears a slightly big sweater that changes its pattern every time I see them. From the bits and pieces I have seen of their soul type, they seem to be a DETERMINATION soul, one of the rarer human soul types. Further investigation is required.

Samuel Alton Samuel is the adopted brother of Frisk and the oldest at twenty-five [25] years old. He's not very interesting, but he is quite clumsy. He's stumbled over his own feet plenty of times and has run into Monsters on occasion. His only defining feature is his long ginger hair and round glasses. His soul type is orange, but I haven't been close enough when he and Frisk had an ENCOUNTER with another Monster, so I don't know the exact shade and cannot state whether or not he's a GUILT soul or a BRAVERY soul, or some soul between the two. Further investigation is required.

Aaron Raine Aaron is unrelated to the two humans above but lives in Snow Town. He's twenty-three [23] years old, and his most defining feature is the black leather jacket he wears. His soul type is APPETENCE, which is one of the souls under the PATIENCE line, although at the direct opposite of the spectrum. It's a dark cyan. Sans and Papyrus seem to enjoy his company, but they're more wary of him than the others. I don't know why, as they won't tell me, but I've stopped asking. Further investigation is required.

Dr. Alphys has set up cameras around the rest of the underground to keep an eye on the humans that may or may not come through the Temple Ruins border. Unfortunately, we're unable to put cameras in the Temple Ruins, but we'll manage with the Data we have now.

DATA LOG 02 - W.D. GASTER

Alphys and I finally finished the first wave of turning our physical logs into digital ones.

However, I am quite hesitant to tell her my findings as I booted up the old system to enter them.

She is excited to learn new things... but she has been stressed as of late. Best not to put more work on her shoulders. I fear I may have to figure this out on my own.

It's nothing I'm not used to already, just one more hurdle to climb over.

Testing, Testing

DATA LOG O1 - W.D. GASTER

Alphys and I decided to create Virtual Data logs regarding visitors, guests, and Experiments.

Alphys brought to my attention that our physical files were both outdated and tended to go missing often. I accepted the change as to not lose valuable data.

It will be quite the change, but I feel as if it's a worthy investment... I will, however, still keep physical data as well, in case of a system corruption. You can never be too careful.
