Action Movies Rarely Ever Fail...
But somehow Underworld 4 managed to did just that. FAIL. Now I'm a chick that love action flicks and I think I've seen enough to judge a movie.
People tend to think that actions movies fail because they lack a plot. I mean Ninja Assassin and and Transformers 2 are some of ma fav action movies and none of them have a plot so I plot isn't quite necessary for an action movie. Action movies tend to fail if they lack one or more of the following:
A LOT of violence (shot blowing up, car chases, curving bullets etc etc)
The main character's role is just "blah". Nothing complex or concrete.
A stupid story line to work with in the first place

Underworld Trilogy. - Very good. Especially the story line. You actually had to follow these movies closely to understand it. It was filled with action, love, sex and betrayal. And to be honest the movie did kinda come full circle in the third installation so there really wasn't any need for a 4th. But lo and behold 3 years after the directors decide to give the fans another movie. Ok then sure.
Boring. Boring. Oh and did I mention boring? There was legit nothing to this movie. Barely had a story line. no sex. I suppose the movie was about how her hybrid daughter's blood could help the lycans replenish and build up their kind again. I'm sorry but not even Michael Ealy's pretty eyes could save this film. The stunts weren't great, Selena's character was pretty much lost in the BS of this movie, I suppose the violence was okay. This movie left a sour taste in my mouth as far as the Underworld franchise is concerned. 4/10 (and I'm being generous because of Michael Ealy's eyes)
