------; "Are you lost bambina?"
‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.”
“—-That is one way to put things..”
"Hello there, good sir." Alice smiled and curtsied towards the well-mannered gentleman. "I do not believe we have met before."
“—-Salve madonna, not we have not.”
He bowed his head at her curtsey, “I am Ezio Auditore da Firenze, what is yours?”
"They’re coming.” {||}// a lil random 'oh hey those people you were trying to avoid, yeah, those, they're comin for tah booty' kinda thing... but less silly... [hii...]
“—-Whose coming?”
"Unbelievable. I can't believe you right now."
“—-Scusi?”
James wasn’t nervous by any means. When Ah Tabai called on him it was usually in terms of praise or to explain a new contract, which was what the pirate figured this was. This Mentor(he hadn’t taken the time to learn his name, an obvious sign of disrespect but the pirate hadn’t paid much attention to it) was Italian like Flavia, and that truly fascinated the younger male. Foreign languages were sort of a mystery. A mystery he enjoyed.
He was answered in what sounded like a calm but warning tone and he raised a brow, but followed along with the Mentor as if nothing was amiss. “Aye, understandable.” He agreed, moving to walk alongside the Italian. “Is somethin’ wrong?” He asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
Ezio allowed Kidd to catch up to him before he walked at an even pace. His hands so naturally coming behind him, his fingers interlocked together. Where was he to start, was he annoyed that the boy did not come to him and ask for his permission to court his daughter, or was he happy? It was a mixture of both, and the fact that his daughter hid James from him--- well that was something he'd have to speak to her about.
"---No no, I wanted to talk to you about Flavia Auditore, what do you think of her?"
It was a coy attempt to see his true feelings for her. If he wanted what a lot of males do, which was only to have sex, he'd find out. Easily, and he wouldn't have to speak a word of it. Ezio was a very protective father, and he had every reason to be.
"I've 'eard 'ye wanna talk t' me. That true mate?" -nxtmxstdays {playing this off as if James doesn't yet know he's her father >.>}
Ezio is looking over some plans for a mission, leaning over them with his hands pressed against the wooden desk. The small rumors that his daughter Flavia was dating someone from the Brotherhood. Not only that, but he was a pirate as well. He has also seen that she has been smiling more often, which is a tall tale sign of being in a relationship. He knew who the said boy was, and so naturally he called upon James Kidd. His head turned away from his plans to look over his shoulder when he heard Kidd.
The Mentor always found Kidd’s accent and the fact that he called him mate, instead of Mentor. He grunted then turned back to his plans, giving a slight nod before he turned away..
"—-Si, I did…"
He replied before signing his name on the bottom of parchment paper before turning around to start walking around the den that laid within the jungle. “If you please, walk with me Kidd. There is something I need to talk to you and you only about.”
"Why do you evade the question?" The jester counters.
"Because it is none of your concern." He replies as he starts to narrow his eyes.
