You sat under the warm sun

Your butt ached from the hard bleachers

You'd known Palacco from college and he'd been begging you to come see a game

This team needed fucking medicine

You observed the team as they messed around in the dugout

There were some...interesting guys.

BUT THERE WAS ONE!!

The one guy who stomped out onto the field

You smirked when he yelled into his glove

His face was a masterpiece when he was mad

the way his eyebrows knit together

You were 10/10 into this guy

He constantly bit his lip when he was stressed

And that was all the time

You cheered for him when he would actually hit the ball

He made eye contact with you while he was on first

You blushed and turned away

When the game was over you walked into the dugout and was instantly embraced by Ryan

"Who's he?" You asked in a hushed tone your head pointing towards Pat

"That's Pat Murray....beware he's always picked after a game.

"I am fine with that," you nearly moan

"Oh shit you're into him."

You tap your friend on the shoulder and walk over to him

Pat was busy violently throwing his stuff in his bag

"Excuse me," you say

Pat angrily looks up at you

But that shit changes when he sees your face

The hot girl he saw when he was on first

"H-hi," he stutters

"Good game...I love your passion."

"Really?" He starts to laugh, his hand nervously rubbing the back of his neck

Vinnie bumps into him "ask her out," he whispers.

"Do you want to go out?" He asks almost too loudly

"I would like that. I'm y/n."

"Pat."

"Take care of my friend or I'll kick I'll your ass!" Palacco shouts in warning

"Ignore him," you tell pat

"I do all the time."
