Unexpected Grace
Premiering Sunday, March 12, 7pm/6c on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Starring Erica Durance, Michael Rady, and Erica Tremblay.
Watching a Hallmark movie about a girl who was struggling to make friends, so her and her mom launched a balloon into the air with a note on it, for whomever found it, if they wanted a pen pal, to write back, leaving it up to chance.
The balloon is found a few years later, by another young girl who has lost her mother, and oop, in that time, the first girl has also passed away.
Long story short, the first girl's mother and the second girl's father get together, and the end of the movie has them all together, sending another pair of balloons just as a tribute to their lost loved ones.
And JUST as I'm thinking of "Oh great, this is gonna inspire people, and be awful for the environment!" the kid says, "And hey, the balloons are biodegradable now!"
And this is hilarious to me, because the line is spoken ENTIRELY off screen, so I am almost positive it was recorded later when someone else had the same thoughts I did.
