Day 17: Unexpected Adventure Awaits (≧▽≦)!!
Hey internet void,
Can you believe this? I woke up super early today, fueled by an unknown energy, to fill up the car. The house was a disaster zone, so I decided to lend a hand and do some cleaning. While I was busy with chores, my grandma from New York called. She asked if I wanted to go on a vacation to our old place in Dumaguete City since I'm not doing much in Manila.
I was completely shocked! All expenses paid? Are you serious? Of course, I said yes! It’s a much-needed break from the city noise. I think it's time for some serious thinking and soul-searching. Don't worry, internet void, I'll still be here, sharing my Dumaguete adventures with you. I'm leaving this Sunday!
I can't believe this is actually happening. It feels like a dream. Dumaguete has always held a special place in my heart. It's where I spent most of my childhood summers, running barefoot on the beach, chasing fireflies, and exploring hidden coves. I can't wait to revisit those memories and create new ones.
I'm already imagining myself sipping on fresh coconut water, watching the sunset, and reading a good book. It's going to be pure bliss. I'm also excited to try the local cuisine again, I'm ready to indulge.
I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I can't help feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. It's been years since I've been back, and I wonder how much things have changed. But one thing's for sure, I'm ready for this adventure.
I'll make sure to document everything, from the food to the scenery, and of course, the unexpected moments. Stay tuned, internet void. This is going to be one hell of a ride!
