THE EMPEROR: What are some names you like?

I like names that sound like they could belong to Kings or ones that are just lifted from Shakespeare plays but aren’t normal. Like these are names I would give characters or pets but not people: Lysander, Demetrius, Horatio, Mercutio, Cassius, Cesario (or Viola), Lincoln, Paris, Valentine, Cordelia, Desdemona, Imogen, Isadore, Ophelia, etc, etc.

I’m also just really into the name Ferris Bueller as an aesthetic.

THE TOWER: Favourite colours to wear?

Those autumnal bastards - rusty colours and musky blues! Right now I want desperately to own royal blue things, though.

THE SUN: Do you believe in magic?

Similar to ghosts, I believe in it enough not to be out here projecting bad energy into the universe. I worked on a show this year that was about witchcraft and the director/playwright, who identifies as a witch, was very serious about creating a space free of negative energy in regards to it. So I believe in...magical...energy? I suppose? I don’t believe that you can magic something up out of thin air, but I believe that you can put energy into the universe that is good or bad and it can affect you and other people and I don’t really know what I’m talking about so I’mma stop but YA.

02. Favourite candle scent?

My favourite candle is Mahogany Teakwood from Bath and Body Works -- but shout out to Fresh Balsam. I also have this soy candle that is papyrus, palm, and eucalyptus that’s Shakespeare themed that is...the softest and nicest smell ever. 

10. Tell the weirdest, most random fact you know

In Medieval Europe, communities would perform these Cycle Plays or Mystery Plays as part of their Springtime Corpus Christi festivals to celebrate Christianity, right? Basically there would be a boatload of plays performed at various stations around the town, and each would be a bible story. They would assign mysteries (trades) plays to produce and perform relevant bible stories - for example, The Second Shepherd’s Play would be produced by shepherds, Noah’s Arc by the boatmakers, etc. The most unfortunate of all examples is that the story of the crucifixion was assigned to the nail makers. 

15. Describe what the opposite of your ideal partner would be.

I didn’t read this question when I reblogged the meme and...I don’t...I don’t know. The opposite of my ideal partner would be....a leo...because i am one and i cant compete for attention like that.

ugh the fact that anon read that whole post full of info and explanations and this is all they absorbed from it isn’t great :/

i guess what i stated in the tags might have come off a bit too harsh. I thought the original post had some good points, even if overall tone was a bit on the aggressive side. I am not trying to exclude anyone from getting support from LGBT+ community, just   ace issues often aren’t really the same as other LGBT+ people’s issues.

Right now it’s a toss-up between The Great Pottery Throwdown and Portrait Artist of the Year (2020). Also, a special shout out to 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown which is always there for me when I need it the most. 

25 | What’s the best personal gift someone could give you (playlist, homemade card, etc.)? 

Book, movie or TV show recommendations that people really think about! Recommendations beyond “this is a good movie” - I think it’s super cute and nice to suggest that something makes you think of someone else based on content, u kno? 

The director of one of the last shows I worked on wrote everyone five movie recommendations on the backs of our thank you cards, and I’d seen a lot of them but they hit me right on the nose. It was cute! 

I also really fucking love playlists tho.

hi there! i had a question about your bookshelf (from this post -> post/88372050687)...on your shorter shelf it looks like you have another set of HP books stacked up, what covers are those? they look absolutely beautiful! and if they're not HP books they still look beautiful :)

hi! those are the swedish hardcover versions, actually. they are gorgeous. I doubt I will read HP in swedish again, but they're so pretty that i just had to put them up there with my english set.
