sunghoon watches fondly as you attack the ice cream in your hands.
“okay now that we have our ice cream, what was your brilliant plan huh sunghoon?” he chuckles in response. it amazes him how ethereal you look even with a brown and white mustache.
“ugh what’s so funny now!?” you retorted
“nothing nothing it’s just- here.” he says softly as he brushes a napkin over your top lip. you can’t help but hold your breath. why are you holding your breath? why are your cheeks burning up??
“much better.” he wrapped up with a smug smile.
“ugh whatever!” you said quickly turning your head away from his gaze. you softly tapped away the fuzzy feeling on your lips before turning back to him.
“okay now, the project?”
“oh right the project.. because little miss y/n would never go out with a guy like me just for fun” he said with a teasing pout. god did you wanna smack it away; along with the strange feeling of wanting to kiss them away.

despite the twitter banter, you and chaehyun we’re at peace in each others presence. as you layed on your bed with chaehyun’s head on your stomach you wondered why you didn’t spend more one on one time with your closest girl friend.
“alright tell me, what’s going on with you and the glorified penguin?”
“the what?”
“park sunghoon.” -and then you remembered.
“oh my god chae-“ you said as you nudged her head off your abdomen.
“im serious!! who do i have to fight.” she replies shoving a fist into your sheets.
“no one!! sunghoon’s annoying and all but we don’t need to hurt him.”
“annoying? just annoying? remember that time when-“
“mhm! i remember alright no need to bring it up now.”
“right. sorry. it’s just i don’t wanna see you like that again.”
“i know, and you won’t!
“okay fine! but i swear to god y/n if he-“

jake stared at your hands as they brushed past his repeatedly. you were probably rambling on about a teacher that bothered you earlier, or how you had one too many assignments due at the end of the night. jake wasn’t sure though. he was too distracted by each and every one of your features. he got lost in your tired eyes, adored your rosy cheeks, and was mesmerized by your lips. he knew he shouldn’t have. after all, he was your bestfriend, and a bestfriend’s job was to listen. not fall in love.
“jake? dude are you even listening to me?!” were the words that snapped him back to reality.
“huh?”
“oh my god sim jaeyun YOU ARE SO DEAD.”
just like that he starts running faster than he ever has before. flattered by the fact that for once, you were chasing him.
