I had the hardest time with this question...
mango - Hoseok because mango’s have a big stone in the middle and Hoseok’s heart is the biggest in the entire universe, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. (the alternate reason is because Yoongi said he wanted to be a stone in the next life and Hoseok would just hold him in his heart) Not that this is important but mango’s are my favorite fruit!
lychee - Jimin because he’s sweet and the thought of parting from him would be heartbreaking (lychee’s were banned in my house when i was younger because kids were choking on the jelly cups? and i never recovered from that trauma)
coconut - Jungkook simply because he had what i perceive to be a coconut head hairstyle during in the soop 😭
pineapple - Yoongi ONLY BECAUSE according to google pineapples are economically significant plants and Yoongi described himself in relation to BTS as Adam Smiths’s invisible hand.
papaya - Namjoon because papaya’s are described as soft and fleshy 😭 .. don’t look at me
tamarind - Taehyung because he can be sweet but tangy too. Also he looks so good in brown :((((
watermelon - Jin (because of these gifs) He was born to wear pink!
8. what do you like to eat with your rice?
i love meat 😭 so beef, chicken and also shrimp 🦐 and eggs 🍳.
11. which desi artist (could be an actor/performer/singer from any south asian diaspora background) do you want to see in a BTS mv?
It would have to be ZAYN. I want a collab so bad.... Like i know once Rapline and Zayn collab on a song the lyrics would be insane and send me immediately to my deathbed. Just the thought of Taehyung and Zayn’s voices harmonizing!!! But i’ll take a music video appearance too as ZAYN is part of the vocal and visual line
22. what is the first word or phrase you would share with BTS in your language?
agh this is so hard !! but there’s a phrase in Bangla for when there is a sun shower (aka when its sunny but its also raining)
The phrase is খ্যাকশিয়ালের বিয়ে - Khêkshialer biye (more commonly shiyaler-biye) which literally translates to Jackal's (or fox's) wedding
i’m note entirely sure why sun showers are associated with “trickster” animals. Maybe because we think these animals would only get married under special circumstances? But one of my favorite art pieces is based off of this phenomenon.
23. which BTS member would you introduce to your parent(s)?
this question is so funny because i wouldn’t do this LMAOO. If I had to it would probably be Jimin because i don’t think any (person) parent could not love Jimin. I feel like they would just automatically think he was cute and want to feed him, as they should. 😌
