floribeth has been watching eleanor - or ellie, as everyone calls her - for a while now. that is to say, she's been watching ellie watch jeremy, and it's so obvious that ellie has a thing for him. it's about as obvious as her own huge crush on jed.

and speaking of: she knows as well as anyone that ellie's fascination with caroline mirrors floribeth's own in regards to bonnie.

"for sure," she nods, getting up from where she'd been fiddling with her phone. slipping it in her pocket, she wonders whether or not she can ask how and when ellie got turned and by whom. she wonders if they're from the same sireline. then again, if it turns out that ellie hails from rebekah's sireline, floribeth thinks she would not be surprised, either. "where exactly in the room do you want that thing?"

the kids were at home, old enough to be a couple of hours on their own now. will and freya was some of the best things that has happened in her life, but sometimes, she did love these moments, where it was just her and her husband. while they celebrated more on the day before halloween, devil's night were more they thing, freya wanted to carve pumpkins and she rarely could tell her little princess no. so they're out here, buying a few pumpkins for the kids. their own little date. focused on the pumpkins as they slowly walk the patch and there's a small grin forming before turning around to face will, nose crinkle playfully. and maybe she should recognize that look he is giving her by now. but who is she, if not teasing a little ? " mmm, there was this one time, " walking closer and arms wrap around the back of his neck, kiss pressed to his chin as dark gaze peer up at him. " this guy with a white and red mask chased me, caught me, kissed me . . . "

we  were  sitting  on  the  couch  watching  a  movie  when  i  felt  that  familiar  pressure.     the  skin  on  my bump  had  even  rippled  where  the  first  kick  connected.    not  wanting  tate to  miss  his  chance  to  feel  his  baby  brother  or  sister  kicking,    i  had  grabbed  a  hold  of  his  hand  and  placed  it  over  the  spot.    come  on,    keep  kicking  for  your  big  brother.    a  beaming  grin  stretches  across  my  face  at  @ungodlypart's  question.    "that  was  a  kick!"    my  warm  eyes  grow  misty.    "and  that  was  another  one."    i  giggled.

never got the fuzz. not about romantic relationships, friends, she could never quite connect with people. when she heard people talking about their significant other, she could never understand the wish to willingly spend that much time with someone. her parents had always told her to make connections, and she did, in her own way. [ people that specialized in different things, that she found useful. ] but she always knew that's not what they meant. so when she'd met ivar and things changed, she wanted it to just be hers. wanted whatever was between them to not be touched by her family. by her life. and it had been easy. until it wasn't. until they had figured out and tested her. until octavia had been kidnapped. until everything was hard. and had it been anyone else . . . octavia would have been six feet under, and she couldn't have cared less. not about her & not about what he might have thought about it. now however, she cares. [ in the way, she cares what ivar thinks. ] and while she doesn't understand it, because her own never cared. there were competing and sabotage for each other, with little care for the others well being. she isn't sure how the whole family thing works. but it's part of her life now. somewhat.

he was supposed to be with them tonight. and she didn't feel like coming to the torrance and every other big name family in town gathering. it was a lot getting used to, and while jealous would be the wrong word, sometimes it's a little odd. seeing how things could have been. parents that cared. siblings that protected you, even if you fought and argued. didn't expect him back, not before sometime tomorrow at the earliest. the door to their apartment open and eyes lift from her laptop, brow raise every so little. a little surprised, a little giddy, a little curious. " you left a house full of people, i doubt you'd be alone, " does however shift and close the laptop, putting it onto the table before getting up, slowly walking over to him. " did something happen ? her apartment was one of the things she kept private. it was on the smaller side, but it was hers. it was this safe haven, where nothing could get to her. she didn't usually invite people in. she kept a line at the door and most would be staying on the other side. and then there was will. will who was undoubtedly head over heels with another woman. will who struggled with his time in prison. will who was probably more high, more drunk, than he was ever sober. he was the one her heart beat a little faster, a little harder for. and when he stand outside her door, she doesn't have it in her to tell him to go up to his own place. instead she grasp his hand and pull him into her apartment. across the treshold. " okay, well i just ordered some pizza if you're hungry, " she also had plans of a bubble bath and a face mask, but right now she isn't sure that's exactly something to bring up.
