Both of you were packing some belongings, your backpack was too kinky, who knew that to visit a private island you’d need only toiletries, makeup and lingerie? It looked pathetic but you were going to do everything in your power to get Yixing back, even if that meant acting slutty and steal him from that pretty doctor.

Yixing was called from reception, a small boat awaited for him just outside the cabin, he went down the stairs jumping on it, you saw the boat and the back of a man thinking that he looked like Yixing, but what would be the odds that he was sharing the same cabin, only a door separating you? Did this mean Dr. Hansu was in the other side? You tiptoed your way to the door startled by a call from reception, advising you that your boat was ready outside, you looked at yourself in the mirror, this white see through kaftan was the best choice ever, giving away the bright red colour of your bikini underneath, you took your sunglasses and your floppy straw hat and went on the boat excited to meet Yixing.

Yixing had arrived before you walking along the shore of a beautiful private island, it was relatively small and quiet and deserted if it wasn’t for Yixing who was already shirtless wearing sunglasses hands in pockets looking delicious for you to enjoy, it’s been too long since you’ve seen his body, you couldn’t believe that you hadn't tried getting him back all this time.

You went down thanking the sailor who helped you down, you watched the boat disappear in the turquoise horizon, you saw Yixing notice of your presence from afar, you acted as if you didn’t notice him yet and walked towards the huge cabin, if was so beautiful and romantic, if felt like being in heaven.

The door was open you walked inside hoping Yixing would follow you, you could see him from the bedroom balcony facing the beach, he was walking in circles, rubbing his neck, as if distressed, uncertain, doubting, maybe he saw you and he was upset? He was waiting for his beloved doctor instead you appeared, it must of been very shocking, it gave you a lack of confidence instantly, while you kept looking at him.

Yixing in the other hand was exactly doing that, losing his cool, he saw you in that magnificent white kaftan and he did have a glimpse that you were wearing something red, Yixing ultimate favourite colour on you... red... he was not coping at all, he wanted to look sexy and impressive but there he was rubbing his neck thinking what to do.

You just decided to ignore him, you were here to enjoy the holidays Luhan oppa had booked for you or at least you would try to enjoy.

You walked out of the cabin and headed for the 2 beach loungers that were facing the water, luckily Yixing was behind so your act that you didn’t see him was still credible.

You put the sunscreen lotion in one of the loungers and slowly pulled your kaftan off your head, from the corner of your eye you saw Yixing looking at you, perhaps it wasn’t as bad as you thought, red always caught his attention.

Yixing was having a moment of his own, he was trying to relieve the boner that was threatening to make an appearance, ‘red’ it was red bikini, how was he going to relieve anything? “I guess there’s no need for this, you are soaking” he said with a grin.

Before you had the chance to punch his chest he filled you in one swift deep thrust, that reached that spot that was untouched for so long your body trembling as he took your hand intertwining your fingers together, pressing palm to palm to feel him more intensely, the way he liked it, slow but intense, light but passionate, lazy but caring, peppering kisses all over your face, neck, chest and shoulders, all while he babbled romantic nonsense.

Yixing got the hint and as if you pressed the turbo button you didn’t know how fast he went banging on that spot merciless that had you seeing stars, you heard his frantic breathing as you shut your mouth with your hands.

“None of that, let me heard it, call me Lay, say it again please” he managed to say between thrusts.

Lazy and sore, you smelled the aroma of coffee, you opened your eyes slowly realising it wasn’t a dream, Yixing’s towel around his waist hang low, his god-like v lines in display as he a brought the bed tray.

“Lay, I’m sore”

“Oh baobei don’t call me that, or else you will be more sore and this breakfast will go to waste”

“I wasn’t dreaming? Yesterday was real?”

Luhan was waiting in the arrivals, he had this cheeky smirk as Yixing hugged your from behind walking towards him.

“You really are wearing that unicorn t-shirt in front of your woman Yixing didi? How can you find this appealing ___-mei?”

“He’s adorable, what are you talking about? He’s my unicorn, the unicorn of my dreams” you brought Yixing into a heated kiss.

“OK, I guess saying get a room is not applicable here, I will move out soon” said Luhan patting on Yixing’s shoulder.

You broke the kiss alarmed “you don’t have to, you are my older brother, I wouldn’t do this to you”

“Oh no, I want to, please you have a lot of catching up to do, he’s been dreaming of you all this time and it’s been... man how do I put it? He really needs you”

“Lu-ge!” whined Yixing for getting exposed.

“Come on let’s get you home” said Luhan taking your suitcases.

Luhan had changed all the furniture, he had learned everything you liked even the smallest details, like wanting to have a rocking chair and feathery cushions.

It was nice, very nice feeling to have Lay this close, the weather was just perfect and sleeping under the purple sky and multicoloured stars that shined above you wasn’t at all bad idea, the arms wrapped around you resting on your abdomen made it even more exciting, sleep? What sleep, no way you would sleep, what if all this was a dream and you’d wake up back in reality?

You gasped every time you heard a new creature making a new sound, but nothing was as exciting as Lay’s cute noises when he slept, you slowly turned around to watch him sleep, he seemed younger, cute and fluffy, cuddle worthy, and finally you had a close view of his eyelashes, your fingertips ached to touched them, feel them, where they real? Was anything real?

You decided against it, you fought your inner devils that screamed to touch him, anywhere really, you slowly removed his hand from atop of you and slipped from the sunflower petal to the ground.

Wow the fireflies around the place were just indescribable, the light that irradiated from them was something between pink and purple alternating, what was this place?

You lied down on the grass just like you were in the morning and inhaled taking in the amazing surroundings, you still couldn’t believe that all this beauty existed in the darkness of the night, you giggled to yourself as you traced the stars with your fingers to make shapes.

“You will wake everyone up”

“I-I’m sorry Lay, but wake up who?”

“You woke me up, you could wake up the other unicorns”

“Others? Are there any others like you?”

“Sure there are, I will show you tomorrow, now let’s go to sleep”

“I am not sleepy, you can go I’ll keep quiet I promise”

“I’d love that Lay, you know... I don’t know what are you, who I am and where we are, but this seems better than heaven right now, I’d love not to wake up if it’s a dream”

“Let me show you a nice place”

“Yes trust me, you will love it”

“Is it far?”

“No, not really, so... no need to ride on me we could just walk, maybe I could hold your hand” he said taking your hand into his intertwining you fingers “it feels nice”

“Yes it does Lay, now take me to this place”

You started walking along the river, you could see shiny fish swimming in the dark water, your amused expressions made Lay happy, and he gifted you the view of the dimple to the dimple he had on his right cheek, you really needed to control the constant urge of touching his face.

You stopped at a small cliff that had a small waterfall that cascaded on the river, Lay let go of your hand and smiled as he walked backwards too close to the cliff “follow me”

“Lay where are you going? You are going to fall!”

“Just follow me” he said finally jumping falling on the water right in front of the waterfall.

“Lay? Lay where are you? I can’t see you it’s too dark”

You looked down carefully you saw Lay clearly as lighting fish swam around him, his smile big showing his teeth waving at you.

“Come on down, jump”

“Are you sure?”

“Just jump, I’ll be right here”

You didn’t think it twice and you closed your nose with your fingers closing your eyes tightly and off you went expecting the river to be cold but it was warm, warm and refreshing all at the same time, you opened your eyes under the water and surprisingly you had the ability of breathing, but why surprised? You didn’t know any other thing, the view was crystal clear, fish all shapes and colours.

“Hi Lay! Long time no see” directed a starfish talk at Lay.

“Hello everyone” he replied naturally.

Little fish swam through your hair swimming in all directions making you giggle.

“Lay this is amazing, you know this place?”

“I guess she is keeping you busy Lay” said a big silver fish winking at Lay “you are so beautiful”

“Well thank you Mr. Silver fish” you replied petting him.

Lay took your hand in his again and swam away through what it looked like a coral reef labyrinth all colours possible were displayed as little fish came in and out.

“Let’s play, I’ll count till 10 and I’ll come and find you” he said moving your hair away from your face.

You swam through the labyrinth finding 5 red and blue fish waving for you to follow them “come, you can hide here” they said.

“Nine and ten, ready or not here I come”

You hid in a big orange anemone, it’s tentacles making it hard not to giggle.

“I can hear you, I think you are…” you saw him through the anemone tentacles “Here! I caught you!” he said wrapping his arms around your body your laugh being quietened when you realised how close he was to your face “this was so much fun” he almost whispered, his smile long gone a slight frown forming in his face.

“Yes, yes Lay, I… it was fun” you confidently hugged him being so close as you floated back to the surface hearing all the fish saying goodbye and asking you to visit again.

Lay detached himself from you and swam under the waterfall, you followed him holding onto his shoulders a bit scared of how dark it was, suddenly Lay whistled lightly making the cave light up like a diamond, it was so sparkly and shiny, the sudden change in lighting making your shut your instantly “Lay!” you gasped “what is this? Where are we?”

“This is my secret place, and I don’t know why I suddenly wanted to show it to you” you watched as Lay sat down at the edge sinking his feet in the water patting the place next to him for you to join him.

“All my life all I knew was my unicorn family, healing the trees and the animals, helping out in this place, I thought this was my life, I lived thinking I was different and the the odd one out, I never knew I’d find you”

“Where you waiting for me?” you asked happily.

“I’m not sure… you… you are so beautiful, I feel so happy, I thought the purpose of my life was for others, but then you appeared… please don’t ever go away, don’t just disappear”

“Lay, I feel the same way, I don't know where I come from, all I know is that I want to stay” you just couldn’t contain yourself any longer, your hands cupped his cheeks your thumbs feeling his wet skin tracing the dimples, his feet touched yours and soon they started playing together.

“I wished this moment stopped, just like this, you and I forever like this”

“Wouldn’t you like more?” he said as he held at your wrists.

“More than this? I don’t think my heart can handle more”

“Come closer” he whispered lowering your hands to his mouth kissing them inhaling loudly.

“Lay!”

“I… need to go”

“What? Why? Now? You just said-”

“There’s a tree that needs my help, just wait here”

He stood up and sprinted out of the cave from the other side you looked at the diamond-like walls not expecting Lay to come back after 2 minutes, he brought what seems like giant red rose petals folded on his arms.

“Here take these, your dress is soaked and it’s cold”

“What do you want me to do with them Lay?”

He placed the petals on the floor going behind you, he surprised you taking your long hair braiding it carefully, he then made a high bun atop of your head securing it with a stick, you then felt his hands on the straps of your dress trying to pull them down “Lay wait!”

“There’s no one here but me, I’m sure the fish can’t see” he said pushing you further inside the cave.

“But… but you…”

“I thought… I’m sorry, it’s just getting cold and I don’t know when I’l come back, I don’t want you to… alright, take the dress off and cover yourself with the petals I’ll be just outside”

Lay left you to it, you stripped out of the wet dress, you dried yourself with the smaller of the petals and wrapped the bigger one around your body “Lay, I’m done”

Lay came back with a giant butterfly silk cocoon that you could fit in easily, he placed it on the floor taking your appearance, red really was your colour, the smile he had on his face eyeing you from head to toe several times made you feel really good “you look amazing, I just didn’t know how pretty you really are”

“Thanks Lay” you replied shyly trying to push the petal down to cover more of your exposed thighs.

“Here, let me help you with that” Lay took the other petal and he managed to create something to wear over your shoulders, he then tied the petal securely around your body with his hands “now it’s better” he finished looking at you again, this constant staring contest was making your blood boil from inside out.

“I brought this cocoon, please get inside so I can close it, I hope it’s comfortable”

He laid the cocoon on the floor opening in for you to get inside, you happily got in and watched him tug you leaving a small opening for your face.

“You look extremely cute like this” he said before kissing your forehead “I’ll try to be quick and will come take you, now try to sleep” he whistled and the brightness of the cave died into a nice dim lighting, you closed your eyes drifting into a nice sleep.

Lay went out shifting into his unicorn shape, he was very worried, it was long ago since he sensed the tree needs his help and he ignored it. He arrived and saw a big branch of the tree on the ground next to the tree “I am sorry I am late”

“Hello Lay, don’t worry about it, we are always thankful that we can count on you”

He shifted back taking the brach and holding it back to where it originally belonged, magically the branch adhered back to the tree finally kissing the place “tell me, what happened?”

“The wind, nothing major, I feel like new now, thank you Lay, but why you look so worried?”

“It’s the first time ever in my life to be late”

“I am sure the reason is worth it, I’ve heard how beautiful she is”

Lay doubled his eyes in surprise, feeling ashamed momentarily.

“You need to think of yourself also, we all want you to be happy”

“Yes we all want you to be happy” added an owl and a bat.

“Thank you guys”

Lay went back to the cave to collect you, he watched your serene face as you slept, he held you in his arms and went back to his sunflower, as he placed you on the flower you opened your eyes Lay had his arm under his head and his hand patting your shoulder for you to go back to sleep “shhh just close your eyes again”

“Lay, get inside with me”

“Huh?”

You opened the cocoon inviting him in “it’s cold get inside there’s plenty of space for 2”

He obeyed your suggestion and got inside pulling the cocoon close again resting your head on his chest “I wish I could stay inside here forever”

“I fear I wish the same” but Lay was worried you were distracting him from his duties…

Lay didn’t think this was a good idea, but he was too weak not to return the embrace…

Was that a pink bird what woke you up? Yes you totally felt how he poke your nose, he flew away when you opened your eyes and it was totally pink and it flew away to the… bright yellow golden looking tree… the ground was fluffy, too fluffy you thought if you jumped it will make a hole in the pistachio green grass that tickled your toes, you were barefoot and wearing a white silk dress that dragged behind you as you walked, you hair long and silky over your shoulders, you saw your reflexion in the turquoise river like mirror clear… where were you?

Heaven? Did you die? You didn’t recall dying, but what was it before being here? You didn’t remember either, did you maybe had a memory loss? Why would you be sleeping out in the open otherwise?

You kept walking following the pink bird, it sang like nothing you’ve heard, and you followed it because you had to, you didn’t know why but you just had to.

“Ah here you are, what took you so long? She must need help, I felt she needs help” you heard a velvety manly voice speak behind yet another incredible looking tree, similar to a cherry blossom but it’s branches touched the floor, it’s petals flying making the view to blurry to see properly, you were in a cloud of pink and white little petals. You walked till you were under the branches, where there was more visibility.

“Oh… you-you look like me… but a better version, you must be a female, I’ve never seen a female before, I was starting to lose hope, I thought I was the ugly unicorn that my parents conceived”

Better version? Was he joking right now, you were in front of the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen, not sure if you ever seen one, but this hurt your eyes, his hair black with a little fringe slightly touching his eyelashes, his lips full and soft looking, his eyes bright and genuine, his cheeks round creating dimples, his dimple had a dimple inside a dimple, no definitely not an everyday view, his jaw sharp like as knife, his neck manly… he was wearing a white shirt opened a button too much exposing his collarbones creating little pools that could be filled with water for you to drink from, his torso defined, muscle after muscle…

“You are hurt aren’t you?”

“Me?”

“Yes, your arm, did you fall asleep in the grass? There are grass residues in you hair, and here is your wound” he pointed at your forearm, you looked down at it and there was a little trail of blood going down to your elbow “oh”.

“I will take care of that, it’s my duty”

“Yes bu-” he placed his hand over the little cut closing his eyes, making his look even more dreamy with his concentrated expression, his eyelashes… how long were they, could you perhaps ask him if you could measure them?

You felt an incredible warmth irradiating your whole body, almost a ticklish sensation, he then opened his eyes and smiled at you “all done”

“Oh wow, just like magic” you said touching the place where there was a cut previously looking thoroughly wondering how did he do it, suddenly a pair of lips landed on your fingers that were touching the place he healed, you gasped in surprise and moved your hand quickly.

“I need to kiss the place, otherwise it wouldn’t be complete, that is how I know it’s healed 100%” he said as you nodded, feeling his lips on your forearm.

Magical

“Now you are perfect” he said taking your appearance and you face factions closely “I will just remove that grass from your hair”

He walked behind you and you felt your hair being handled carefully, you shivered and goosebumps formed all over your exposed skin.

“You smell very good, where do you come from?”

“I-I don’t know really, I don’t know what brought me here”

“Are you lost? What species are you?”

“I am a human… you are too what kind of question is this?”

“Oh no I am not that thing you just called yourself, I am a unicorn”

OK he was gorgeous but the poor thing was crazy, pity nothing is complete.

“You don’t believe me?”

You were debating your options, say no and maybe he will bite your arm off or say yes and go with the flow…

Come on I will show you, ride on my back he said before spinning around the tree suddenly stopping he was a white… UNICORN, you gasped and stepped backwards, this was way out of anything you could had imagined.

“Don’t be afraid, it’s just me, by the way my name is Lay”

“You talk???”

“Of course I do, this is my original shape, the other one it’s just when I need to heal someone or something, now come on ride on me I sense my help is needed”

“I don’t know how”

“Just pump in and pull at my hair I don’t mind” said Lay pushing you with his muzzle to get on.

You finally did questioning your sanity at this stage, it felt so weird everything around you but you really didn’t remember any better, perhaps this was normal and you just really lost your memory?

Lay galloped through the colourful fields, the sun was setting and the flowers shined lighting the scenery almost as much as the sun did, the air was so refreshing and happiness flowed all over your senses.

Lay stopped near a pond that was completely illuminated like a rainbow, you got down of his back him shifting back to the gorgeous man from before, but he was wearing nothing, nothing at all, you immediately darted your eyes lower curiosity killing you but the view blurred just there, just were you wanted to see… was someone against you, why couldn’t you see what was there?

“Ah here you are” he said getting onto one knee, there were 3 sparkly orange fish that were outside the water struggling to get back in, they kept jumping around making it difficult for him to catch them, you decided on helping him going on your four and followed one fish finally catching it.

“I got one! Will I put it back in the lake?”

“Wow really? Yes please”

Before putting it down you kissed the fish carefully placing it in the water, the fish swam away coming back to see you peeking his head out “thank you beautiful girl”

Lay turned around when he heard the fish directing words at you “girl?”

“Oh yes Lay, don’t you see her? She is one of your species, and she is beautiful and helpful”

“Alright beautiful girl, please help me get the rest”

You crawled your way to the smaller fish that was jumping in desperation, both fish remaining were very close, so close that in your attempt of catching them you bumped you head on Lay’s “ouch!” you both cried out, the fish jumped one last time finally inside the pond.

“Thank you Lay, thank you beautiful girl” the fish said swimming away joining the one that left.

Lay held onto his forehead feeling his bump looking at you as you did the same “did I hurt you?”

“No I am fine, are you alright Lay?”

“I am, let me see that” he said moving your fringe away, the bump was just above your eyebrow, he closed his eyes and again he inhaled transferring some warmth through his magical fingers “done, oh no wait… the kiss” he said naturally kissing your eyebrow, you sensed however this time he was a little bit more nervous than the previous time “strange” he said.

“What’s strange?”

“I never got hurt before, and I never felt this way before either”

“Can I try healing you maybe?”

“You can’t, you aren’t a unicorn”

You pressed your lips onto his forehead and kissed it in impulse, before touching the painful site with your fingers.

“It didn’t work, however I feel happy”

“How is so? Aren’t you always happy?”

“I am, but this time is a different kind of happy, I am hurt but yet happy, isn’t it strange?”

“Lay I think everything around me right now is weird so don’t ask me that question”

“Can we be partners?”

“Excuse me?”

“Yes, help me with my daily tasks, you can stay with me”

“I appreciate the offer because I have no place to stay, and I’d love to help you”

The idea of ‘stay with me’ seemed innocent, but he never prepared you to the fact that you were sharing a giant sunflower, that is where he slept, and that is where he was inviting you to stay. He simply lay down and extended his arm for you to have as a pillow, but what was stopping you? Nothing, you smiled and happily joined him, you gave him your back and he wrapped his other arm around you.

“It feels nice, I think I like you, we should stay together forever, you are warm and smell nice”

You felt his front pressed on your back and his breath on your hair, you definitely liked this.

“Thank you for getting lost and come my way”
