Speak Japanese Work Day
Today Unicorn and I decided to practice our Japanese language while at work. Both of us have studied this language before and we used to be pretty good at it. It was until we stopped conversing because being in Malaysia and all, meeting others to enhance this language skill was nearly impossible on a daily basis. So finally, we decided that for the whole day at work, we would try our best to speak nothing but Japanese. Result? It was a nightmare. Because we forgot most of the vocabs and it was a torture being unable to fully express ourselves. We cheated here and there and used English words to make them sound Japanese but who were we kidding. We really need to practice more. Towards the end of the day, we went back to our Manglish style (mixing English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hokkien, Japanese and a little bit of Malay) into our sentence construction because that's just how we talk.
